Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.
Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

do we have to make appointments or just go in our own convenience? what time of the day to you recommend?
do you have any idea where i can do the serology of both varicella and mmr? how much do these lab exams cost?
where can i have my boostrix/adacel vaccination? can you refer any MD? the cheaper the better
thanks guys!
Hey Rajo!
I live here in Cebu. I suggest you perform your medicals at Nationwide because they are cheaper compared to CDUH clinic.
Although you have to be shot for the xray at CDUH, you can still save about P500 if at Nationwide.
Ill send you a pm
just got my COE from La TrobeDoes anyone know of accommodations near La Trobe Bendigo which accepts students enrolled in BP? I was hoping to be able to get accommodations on-campus but then I found out that they are only for students enrolled for at lease one semester. They are not for BP students. Tsktsktsk...
My other option is to stay with my friend who lives in Deer Park Victoria. It would take me around 2 hours just to get to La Trobe Bendigo. That's pretty far and the train fare is not exactly cheap.
If you know any accommodations near La Trobe Bendigo, please pm me. Or if you are also for the May 2012 intake, then maybe we can be roommates
Heloo!
Have you enrolled already for the May intake?
For sure I can recommend you a good place to stay that would
your taste, Ill be be there Jan next year...
If that will be the case, how would we tell ltu to give us longer oshc cover? If we can have 6 months stay, that would be blessing. I am with idp makati.
Hi there!
I have asked this to the LTU Admissions Coordinator when I receivedn the offer letter and the response was that they can only extend the OSHC for only a month right after the BP ceases,
It is possible to extend the OSHC but only when you arrived there, after your visa is granted!
So our visa extension was only a month
however,
we do not have the no further stay condition,
which I think is advantageous so that we can apply for a Visitor visa before it expires...
