New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand Part 2

Published

Due to recent changes regarding applications for International nurses to Australia and the combining of the nursing boards to one central nursing board in Australia AHPRA I have started a new thread for people to discuss the new process on working in Australia.

Currently New Zealand is not accepting new applicants from International trained nurses except those that meet the Trans Tasman Mutual Recognition Agreement {TTMR} this will be updated once the New Zealand nursing board reopen their books to International nurses.

Part 1 thread New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand - Nursing for Nurses

The evidence is the PRC Cert of Good Standing. That's all. ;)

Okay then.. I think I've been giving myself a hard time with regard to this #5 criterion :) but I just want to make sure that I won't be committing another unnecessary expenses just like what I was just about to do with my documents when I thought DFA authentication is must after I have them notarized :-) hehe

I think I'm almost there!:yeah:

thanks for your patience joiemike

You can use either one. If you use a courier that requires a signature send it to the office address and not the PO Box. Someone here posted awhile back that australia post knows where to send it to just in case you make a mistake. Just to be on the safe side, remember that PO box does not have someone there to sign for the docs.

good evening nurses..!:nurse:

i used to send my docs through a courier but i never thought there is another address i could use since im using the postal box.

If ill use the 2nd address, am i going to write the "OFFICE LOCATION"?? Or instead il write like this:

AHPRA

Level 1, 541 Hay Street

Subiaco WA 6008

please help me with my query.

Thank you;););)

go to the PRC and request for the certificate of good standing. they wont email it for you coz they dont have such service.

what you can do is email that document yourself and put PRC as the sender. if youre located here in Manila, there is a courier inside the PRC office and the people there already know what to do.

thankyou so much rajotolentino foer the help.. now do you have any idea how much will it cost me?i mean the requesiton fee and the courier..thanks..

how much is the registration fee or the total amount to be paid for AHPRA application?thanks

*I paid more or less 200 pesos for the post stamp, envelope and certificate of standing. The cost of courier depends , if you'll use the express mail service by Phil Post it will cost you around 800-1000 Php, I'm not sure with the exact amount. I requested PRC to send my certificate of good standing 2 weeks earlier before I mailed my application to AHPRA while preparing my documents. I sent mine using a registered mail so I saved money.Actually It really depends on you.

** Total :450 $

Application for registration 115 $

Overseas assessment Charge 220 $

Registration fee 115 $

Pleasant Evenings to everyone!
