Hi everyone, please help me.
I graduated last march 2007 here in the Philippines and I have my license here already.
Because of oversupply of nurses here, it's too difficult to find a job.
That's why I'm looking forward to working in Australia or New Zealand.
However, I'm confused. Esp about Australia.
I already have my bachelors degree here.
When I go there in Aus to work as RN, must I take a diploma in nursing first? can I work while studying?
After obtaining my diploma there, am I already a registered nurse?
Thank you!
for those who questioned about the cv being signed by the employer....
i had the same doubt as yours but about some weeks ago, someone posted here that the ahpra form is mistaken....this person (i dont remember who) went to ahpra office and has been told that the cv must be signed by us!
(thank god!)
as far the trf is concerned, i have read somewhere that....no ielts, no nothing!
let's just stay positive!!! that's all we can do...
drednag, your inbox is full, i can't reply to your pm.
hey, imsodizzy, sorry bro...i just noticed it now..i've been super busy yesterday...i've deleted some messages and created a space already...would appreciate your re-sending of your pm to me..thanks much for your help:up::up:..and congratulations for completing your bp!!!
:yeah:
hey sweet_tooth, im also from the south. yup, all my docu, new application form and a letter explaining the situation were all sent to me. they even crossed out the part which says payment, it says there waived and a signature of someone from ahpra. my letter was dated june 16. let me know what happens to you application, ok? :)
i think it's just the CV that wasnt included in the list of requirements before.Did u notice the clause which says that if we have requested for a certificate of good standing before then we should refer to page 4 of the new app form, i dont know if they have a new format for the certificate, i think we have to find out soon.
i actually plan on calling ahpra regarding that certificate, maybe they still have our certificates and i do not know if that will do, just in case, they would still consider that then that will be good news for us.
when do you plan on sending your documents again? :)
Hi! I intend to submit my documents on Monday or Tuesday,im just preparing my CV now, bdw, the letter of ahpra to me was also dated july 16. nbv received my dox on june 8 as stamped on my application form. i am trying to look for my official receipt that was issued by PRC when i applied for cert. good standing.maybe il just have it xeroxed and send it together with my application to ahpra. if you happen to get through ahpra's no. regarding that certificate, please let us know so we wont be facing a blank wall...:)
Is your application fee (AHPRA) waived too?I'm now anticipating the return of my documents as well..
NBV received mine June 15 so I'm quite sure my docs will be sent back as well...
Mikyong how are you holding up?
Hi sweet_toothRN, yes my application fee was also waived.
I suggest that you start preparing your CV too. It will help save time...
I will start arranging my TRF for my IELTS too.:) bdw,im from the north a second courser...:)
hehehe, they (the 3 mentioned) are busy working... i will also stop posting so that i will be missed (as if I will be missed, hehe)..good luck to your application, and expect really for some delays as you already understand the situation.. peace..
my ALT is high, so as my BP.. gotta recuperate prior health checkup..
Hi cioman, of course i also missed your posts here :).you are a BIG BROTHER to this thread so keep on offering advice:yeah:. just like now i have some questions..hehehe
I am looking at the application form of ahpra now and in number 11, it asks for details of your qualifications and examinations, i wonder if i should include that im also a US RN as I also passed the NCLEX ( though im still here in the phils.:)) my problem is, what document should go with it? the only proof that i have now is the letter coming from California BON that i passed the exam.Do you think that i will be asked to let Cali. BON forward a validation of license to AHPRA if i stated that i am an nclex passer? It will take $60 to ask Cali BON to do that..in other words, would it hurt if i do not include that in my qualification? or would it be an advantage as part of my assessment if i include it?. To anyone who could answer my question, please enlighten me...others might have the same concern..million thanks..
i hope your ALT and BP is now normal...:)
