We have already added several terms/abbreviations that are commonly used on this BB and nursing terms, but we need your help to populate the list to make it more useful.

DNR: Do Not Resuscitate
OD:Rt. eye

CABG: Coronary Artery Bypass Graft
RCA: Right coronary artery
LAD: Left anterior descending
Cx: Circumflex artery
EPS: electrophysiology study (of the heart...)
MI: myocardial infarction
NTG: nitryglycerin
VT: Ventricular Tachycardia
ac:before meals
hs: hour of sleep
and the list goes on...
This is going to sound so dumb but i really don't know what BCLS, SCLS, PALS, TNCCP, CEN, ED, FNATC, PHTLS, etc mean. I'm going into school and want to know now - thanks
BCLS =Basic Cardiac Life Support
SCLS =I think you mean ACLS...Advanced Cardiac Life Support
PALS =Pediatric Advanced Life Support
TNCCP= Could you mean TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core
Curriculum.... a trauma resuscitation course)
CEN =Certified Emergency Nurse
ED =Emergency Department
FNATC =>>>>Sorry, I have no idea
PHTLS =PreHospital Trauma Life Support
