New excelsior testing site in Fl

Published

Great news guys, excelsior has a new site in Naples, Fl. We had a mass email letters go out to the nurses at the hospital:yeah: asking if anyone was interested in being a CE. YEAHHHHHHHHHH

Specializes in GI.

I wouldnt mind doing my CPNE in florida. I wonder how the pass rate will be there! I only have two exams left til my CPNE!!

The more testing sites the better!

Specializes in Tele/Neuro/Trauma.

So glad I found this post! I was thinking I would have to travel pretty far and a friend of mine who tested in Atlanta said it was pretty tough there. Let me know how the testing pass rates are at your hospital... I have a while to go of course, but when I am finished I am interested in testing in my own state to save some $$.

In this way if you are delayed in your travels for any reason you will still be able to participate in the examination. Specific hotel and lodging accommodations near your test site as well as directions to your test site facilities are provided in the confirmation materials you will receive in the mail after an application for the examination has been processed. You will need to make all hotel and travel arrangements.

I just rechecked today. I still do not see a Regional Performance Assessment Center in Naples, Florida. Before I enrolled (back in December 2012) into Excelsior I looked around to gather information about the test site in Naples, and found out that it was no longer offered (March 2013). I live in Florida and if I could avoid traveling outside the state for a clinical, I would be the first on board. Being that I am several theory exams away from even giving the CPNE any thought, I will continue to check the site to see if any changes have been made.

Yeah, I think the Naples site was kind of short-lived. Savannah would probably be the next-closest, or Atlanta, depending on where you are in Florida.
