NET Scores for Samuel Merritt?

Hi there!

For those of you who got accepted into SM would you mind sharing your NET scores, and which program you got into to?

I am trying to decide if i should take them again or not, based on the scores of people who did get in.

My composite score was 82.

I will be applying to both the ABSN and the ELMSN......thanks!

Hi - I will watch this thread. I am also applying to the ELMSN in January but I have not taken the NET yet.

I'm taking the NET on the 20th, after taking the GRE on the 18th!

So, what was the NET like? Can you give the rest of us an idea of what to expect?

Are you taking the NET at Samuel Merritt? I think each site handles it differently, that why i ask.

At SM we had to sit for the whole test, even though they only grade the first 2 sections. So, plan on being there for 3+ hours. You only get 2 or so breaks....i brought food for those times to keep me going.

my composite was 88 and I got waitlisted for the ELMSN FNP program at Oakland Fall 07 and early acceptance ELMSN FNP at Sac Spring 08. Good luck with your applications.

Overall, I thought the test was exactly like the practice tests - so use those!

scubronco: I'm surprised with an 88 you got waitlisted, that seems like a strong score.

Is anyone else willing to share scores or experiences?

My NET composite, if I remember correctly, was a 92.5... I was accepted into the Oakland campus, ELMSN-FNP and ABSN... but I think it's most important to have a score that they accept as passing, as they take a number of other things into account for acceptance.

Thanks for the encouragement! As you can see I don't have a stellar net score.......so i hope to woo them with my gpa and work experience.

BTW,

Which program did you end up going with? How is it, are you happy with your choice?

Hey everyone.. I got a 90 composite score and am currently waitlisted at Sac for the ABSN program.

I just got my scores today! I received a composite percentage of 91% which was 98 percentile. I can't believe it, but I got 100% on math! Whew!!

I applied for the Oakland ELMSN-FNP program--I hope I get in!!!!
