NELRP 2013 - Who else applied?

This is my first year applying for the NELRP but I have known about it for about 3 years, I just recently got a job at a facility they recognize. I was wondering if anyone here has applied before and is the process really as long as I have been reading on past threads? Oh, and do they tell you why you don't get it if you get denied? I'm just a little nervous because I need this help greatly!

I just realized you are from San Antonio, I live in Harlingen!! Thanks for the story now i am nervous i wish i knew how they decided the notificaiton process my stats are the same, HPSA 17, RN, but my debt to income is only 187%. Where do you work in San Antonio? I work for the VA in Harlingen, but I also do work for the VA in San Antonio.

Hello Everyone. I received the initial email on July 12th. I am waiting for the official acceptance email. I am hoping it won't be much longer as it seems those who are getting the 2nd emails get them within 3-4 weeks. I am nurse faculty, tier 1. Everyone keep praying!!! :-)

Still waiting going on 5 weeks since initial emails on July 2nd, ugh I don't think I'm going to get it because of credit issue, but I just want to know one way or Another.

I just got the official welcome letter this morning when I opened my email!!! I am so thankful for this as it is a HUGE BLESSING! I waited a little over 3 weeks since the initial email.

Yay, so exciting! I got my initial on July 2nd so I am getting worried. There are just not as many crazy bloggers as the past few years! Just me!

Congrats micahbgibbs! That's great news. After reading previous years blogs it seems that everyone that posted they had gotten the initial banking info email ended up actually receiving the award. I received the banking info email July 30. I'm so excited!! But still nervous about actually receiving the award.

Yes with the exception of 1 person everyone who got the initial received the award, I had credit issues and still received it, we'll hope I did its not 100% yet, I'm still nervous and not 100% excited, well trying not to put all my eggs in one basket, but getting the 2nd signature seems pretty much a guarantee. It took exactly 4.5 weeks from initial till signature. Thanks I'm hoping for us all!

Do you know when how far after the second signature did you get the welcome packet? 1st email July 2nd, and today no email but I had a second signature on my my app , the rep made it seem like I would get the award packet tomorrow but I can barely breath! It seems everyone that got the signature received the award, i just don't know, my page has not changed and no email, just the signature.
