NELRP 2013 - Who else applied?

Nurses General Nursing

Published

This is my first year applying for the NELRP but I have known about it for about 3 years, I just recently got a job at a facility they recognize. I was wondering if anyone here has applied before and is the process really as long as I have been reading on past threads? Oh, and do they tell you why you don't get it if you get denied? I'm just a little nervous because I need this help greatly! :nailbiting:

What do you mean by acceptance letter? Is it different than the initial email asking for banking info?

I just read your previous posts so this is the email after the initial email ok! I'm hoping soon for me, but I am an RN so it seems faculty are getting notification first. Ugg the wait after the initial email is horrible.

Is anyone still getting initial emails??

RN tier 1 160% debt ratio... Still under review... Going crazy and have read all the posts from last year..hoping and praying

You are the same as me Tier 1 , RN 160% ratio, not sure what your HPSA score was? I think i am a 17, I received the initial email on July 2nd nothing since then, but it seems your in good shape, people in previous years waited a long time for the 1st email, end of August.

Still "under review", CRNA, tier 1 (HPSA 15), debt: income- 129%.

This waiting is excruciating!! My daughter has applied for the second time in three years, RN, tier 1, HPSA 17, debt:income - 189%...she is still "under review". I panicked when I saw that the notifications were time sensitive. I reminded her to check her spam folder as well. I cannot imagine losing the award because of a response not received in time, that would be heart breaking :( It does seem as though notifications are going out much earlier than in the past. Hoping and praying for her.

Charstar,

Congratulations!!

Are you RN or faculty? What tier, HPSA, and debt:income ratio? Hopeful there are many more notifications to be sent:D

Sounds exactly what my stats are, it seems even last years people got letters very sporadic , I got the initial email July 2nd. Nothing sense, I'm an RN, tier I, 180%, hpsa17. So hopefully soon.
