Is there already a thread for RNs waiting to hear about awards from the Nursing Education Loan Repayment Program?
When I search, I can only find previous year's threads.
Congratulations to everyone that has heard!!!!! Silver, do not give up...........it is coming......we have waited way to long to give up now!!!!!! You have the initial email....do not worry!!!!! Next week is the week!!!!

I agree that those who have the initial email are going to get their final email very soon. Looking at previous year post and from what i've heard emails go out in batches(their system only sends out so many emails per day) so i'm sure there will be another batch going out very soon! Hang in there! I think yall have debt/income ratios higher than some of us and if you got the initial email you must have submitted everything right so try not to panic, it's coming!!!
I worked today so that helped me not to think about it! I keep getting an over whelming (sp?) feeling it is going to work out, but you know how it is, can't help but stress!! LOL Thank you for your positive thoughts!!!
What initial email? I'm in a state of panic now! I'm an RN, DSH, Tier 1, blah blah blah... but haven't heard anything unless it was sent to my SPAM folder & just never saw it. My status still says "Submitted"Does this mean I am not even being considered?
The support line person may have a different screen to look at than you, ask if it is under review.
I was feeling anxious because so many had already heard so I called HRSA today and the woman I spoke with confirmed that getting the initial email is almost a guarantee that you will get an award so long as you are still working at your facility and nothing has changed since you submitted your application. She also seemed to think that the date you submitted your application had something to do with when emails went out...

Stay calm and hopeful Addy! Deadline has been extended. They are having problems changing status on the portal.
Call the help center Monday if you are worried. Some workers will tell more than others.
