Is there already a thread for RNs waiting to hear about awards from the Nursing Education Loan Repayment Program?

When I search, I can only find previous year's threads.

I think tomorrow will be a big day.....I hope, I hope, I hope.....I'll be out of pocket during the day so I really won't be able to check until I get home......GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!!!!

Am I crazy to still have hope of getting the first email? I am an RN and still under review ... I called last week bc someone I work with who has a lower income ratio then myself got on and I haven't. The rep told me that they have extended the program to 10/30 due to them being so behind and that awards aren't grouped regionally that everyone is in one big group. He even offered to check my status and said they are verifying all my loans and employment and that even by my last name being so low in the alphabet could effect it. Idk if he was just being diplomatic and giving me answers withou really giving me info or what but I am an RN tier one with 200% ratio

When you view submitted application do you have excluded party list and credit check??

Don't give up hope. If he said they are extending it because they are behind, I don't think he would just make that up to prolong your torture. Someone on this board just gon an initial email last week. It's not over till its over! Stay safe. I hope you don't loose power. Do you have a smartphone? You could check that way. Good Luck!

Thanks everyone! Yes I have an I phone and plan to use it til it goes dead to check. Keeping my hopes up. And yes my app does have excluded party and credit report on it ... Any other tricks to look for ?

I dont think so.. just waiting on the email at this point... But i certainly think there is still plenty of time for them to contact you with the email... try and stay safe!

I would not give up hope...especially with that ratio.....I think the guys tell more on the phone than the girls or the person I got just gave the standard information even though I got the contract email the next day.... She was nice but I'm just saying I don't think they would just give you extra information to give you hope, it's probably true...your ratio is really high and some people don't hear until late....so keep hoping!!!!!

Well guys, I don't know what to say except for maybe tomorrow........Keep hoping because it sounds like there is more to come!!!!! They were running behind last year and they have even more applications this year. Everyone in the line of "Isaac" stay safe......good luck!!!!!
