NELRP is there a thread?

Is there already a thread for RNs waiting to hear about awards from the Nursing Education Loan Repayment Program?

When I search, I can only find previous year's threads.

So I applied for 2012 NELRP back in February and have not heard ANYTHING since. No email, phone call, mail, NOTHING. I checked my application status today and this is what it said:

We did not receive your confirmation to accept the 2012 NELRP award

and required documents by 08/16/2012. Your online application has been

removed from consideration and is no longer eligible for a 2012,

award.

Your overall Application Status is: Finalist for Award, No Response

Has anyone encountered this before? I sent them an email and am going to call tomorrow morning but what can do? I pretty sure it is too late and I don't think they are real flexible even in a situation like this :(

You have to call in the morning! Perhaps someone failed to send you the email. Good luck!!!

I never received an email either. Was just checking my app yesterday like many of us have been doing and my status had changed to "finalist for award." Thank God that I checked an did not end up in the same boat. I also called BCRS and they had my email correct, so not sure what the problem is. I went through all of my spam and emails and NOTHING there!

So did you put in your banking info in?

Ok so i just got the original email AGAIN???? i had to put in banking info again accept intent to gat award again..

So now on my contract i have two signatures ( Both mine) One signed 8/9/12 and one 8/30/12.. Called HRSA and she said everything looked good.. No red flags.. but she could not tell me why i received the email again.. Hope this is not a bad sign.. Any ideas anybody?

I emailed the customer service for HRSA and they were able to reset the account and I put in my banking info and signed to accept the award. It still says I am not guranteed the award but I'm close right? I feel so much better!

yes you are in the last step..

in previous years blogs we can only find two people we know of who reveived email but did not get award.. one was do to child support issues the other i dont know....

I got my email too!!! Was about to lose it! Bank info came up and signed it. Waiting for the second signature. I'm an RN, any RNs have second signatures yet? Sorry if you have already said so. I've been off the trhead for a while.
