Is there already a thread for RNs waiting to hear about awards from the Nursing Education Loan Repayment Program?
When I search, I can only find previous year's threads.
Yeah, Im not worried about it still saying that it is in review since that was expected. However, I am getting a little nervous since nothing on my application has changed at all. Still trying to keep my hopes up though!
Maybe they just haven't gotten around to that portion of your application yet. When did you apply? And are you opening the file that says "view your submitted application", and towards the bottom under "general supporting documents"?
Any nurse practitioners hear about their NELRP application? I am an NP, my debt/salary ratio is about 60% but I am hopeful to get an award still because prior to applying HRSA had noted that a portion of the funds would be reserved for advanced practice nurses.
My app only says submitted and there has been no change to my reviewed application/pdf file
I missed the 2009 cutoff by a hundreth of a decimal point. Sometimes I consider going back to bedside nursing in order to have more time w/ my kids and qualify for the NELRP. I love what I do but miss being able to clock in/out and work 3 days a week.
Anyways I wish everyone out there luck.

I'm an NP also, 144% and mine hasn't changed either. I read an earlier post that something about moving to phase 2 after everything is complete....since I was missing a page and have it now, I just figure that I went back in a pile for more review......I'm going to try and see if applicant changed to participant but I'm not sure where everyone is looking..... I just go into the site with my normal sign on from the link from page two of our posts and I think it must be updated all the time because my employer sent the missing page yesterday and it was online yesterday afternoon. Just remember they said before that there are thousands of us and a few of them.......We have to keep our hopes up!!!!!!
Same here tgonzalez!!!!!! It's so frustrating. I am just waiting for a response in order to leave my job. If I am approve I will stay for two more years, if not, I am leaving that place, it's too toxic.
Yes, it is worth staying around for. I hate to hear that because I really like my job and wouldn't leave either way but stick it out because if you don't owe as much money......everything seems better...lol

After you login to BCRS, go to the top right corner and you should see the tab "roles". When I click on it, it has two selections to choose from, "participant" and "applicant". It automatically selects participant for me, but like I said, it prompts me to "activate my account" and asks for info, which I have done and it just brings me back to that form. When I select "applicant" it brings me to the normal application page. I don't know what the participant option means though. Has anyone else checked into theirs? I haven't received any communication from HRSA, only the credit check, so I'm stumped.

Correction: When I fill out the info it brings me to an error page. Even more stumped!
I finished my application on January 29th. Yep, Im opening the file that says "view your submitted application" and nothing on there has changed. Im wondering if its because im on the lower end of the Debt/Salary Ratio.
That is possible. I don't think anyone really knows the method to their madness. Only time will tell I guess!
My application hasn't changed one bit...not even any documents added under my application. I did just call and it was confirmed that my application is being reviewed. I continue to obsessively check my status, but I can't make any rhyme or reason to the changes being made to some applications and not to others. Anyways, just wanted to give a little hope to those of you not showing any signs of your review starting....it probably has :)

My application still says under review, but from what I understand, it will stay that way until they delete everyone's applications at the end of the award cycle. I am now curious about the "participant" option. **Trying really hard not to get my hopes up!**
