NELRP is there a thread?

Is there already a thread for RNs waiting to hear about awards from the Nursing Education Loan Repayment Program?

When I search, I can only find previous year's threads.

Just some food for thought... Last year, email recipients were assigned to one of two "teams". It doesn't sound like they're doing that this year, but those teams seemed to be divided up by what state they lived in. Maybe they're taking a similar approach this year.

Would those who have received the email mind sharing what state you're in?

Oh, these theories! Who knows? But if it helps: NP, Michigan, Tier 1, D to I 90%, Last name starts with "S"

NP, DC, D to I 140%, tier 1, score of 18, "O"

I'm thinking I may be out of luck because I just called and the rep told me that the emails are being sent out as top priority meaning those who received emails first are on the top of the list. I don't don't understand because some are less than mine and others who have not heard. But I am happy for those of you that have received an email! I'm still not giving up hope!

That's really disheartening and I agree that it doesn't make sense.

Silvermoon, did you happen to ask when the next emails will go out?

No I didn't ask, was too stressed. Sure wish I would have thought to though!!

I am NP, family practice, Arkansas, 141%. I think my application number is in the 3000's. Good luck!!!

Thanks for the positive vibes tgonzalez! In the worst case, we can apply next year! I'm so happy for you especially since you did have to wait an extra year!!

I'm just going to keep hoping that what the rep said isn't completely accurate and that I might still get an email. After all, with such high debt ratios, I would think that they would contact us like they did others if they needed additional info.
