Is there already a thread for RNs waiting to hear about awards from the Nursing Education Loan Repayment Program?
When I search, I can only find previous year's threads.
I also got an email today!! :-) RN, DSH, tier 1, 154%
Congrats!!! Are the emails from HRSA or BCRS? I ask because I get hundreds of spam every day and they wouldn't let me change email address. I worry about missing an email! Again, congrats, at 154% you most certainty need to be awarded and I am happy for you! :yelclap:
Hi all!
First time posting but have been following for a bit now. I'm just wondering the letters of last names of RNs who have received emails? I've heard that it goes in alphabetical order but not sure about it! Haven't heard anything yet and my application still says submitted :/ RN, Tier 1, 103% Congrats to all who have heard and good luck to everyone else :)
CONGRATS to all who have heard!!!!!
No email for my daughter yet--
She's an RN, DSH, tier 1, and greater than 200%, so I continue to pray!
Her ap went in right before the deadline (still "under review")--I wonder if order of submission has anything to do with the order in which folks qualify?

My last name starts with W and my application number is in the 7 thousands.
So happy for all the RNs finally hearing, this sounds like a wave finally, where it has been a little trickle until now! I am also stressing about whether or not I will actually get the award. I find myself just assuming that I will and planning that way, but I do fear that I won't get it in the end, especially as my ratio is quite a bit lower than a lot of others at about 90%, although I am tier 1. Well, no use stressing about it I suppose, and we probably won't know anything for sure for weeks yet.
Does anyone know the percentage of applicants who make it to the final stage that actually receive funding? They state in the email that it is not a guarantee of award.
I read through all of last year's thread and most from the year before that, and it seems like almost everyone who received the email was awarded. One said he got the email but wasn't awarded because of an issue on his credit report. There may have been one person who said funding ran out before she was awarded, but overall, the chances seem very good.
