NELRP is there a thread?

Is there already a thread for RNs waiting to hear about awards from the Nursing Education Loan Repayment Program?

When I search, I can only find previous year's threads.

I think it's safe to say, with all of the sporadic emails, that there are no "waves" this year.

I agree with that! My coworker debt to income ratio was half of what mine is.. No rhyme or reason.. I'm happy she got it though!

I hope thats right. What are the chances that we have all missed the waves? in the prior years there seemed to be a fair amount of people in the blog that got emails.

Ok..I was concerned as to why I haven't received an email and my coworker had, so I looked at my application and on the employment verification document my employer checked the nonprofit/ non dsh box...we are actually a DSH., ..... I'm not sure what they put on my coworker app... I called Nelrp and they stated that they verify all employment information.. So do y'all think it gonna be fine our has my employer just made about. A 30000 dollar mistake

My HR made the same mistake, but luckily I caught it and brought in another form to be filled out correctly. That's a tough one though. The instructions said that we are ultimately responsible for making sure all info is correct, but maybe they will catch that mistake and correct it for you. Can't hurt to hope!!

this sucks! i feel like i can even focus on day to day stuff until i find out if i'm awarded or not! i'm so stressed

How do you check the status of your application??

You can go to this website https://programportal.hrsa.gov/extranet/application/nelrp/login.seam and type in your username and password then open your application and you can see if they have added a EPL or credit check to your account.

Anyone else that has signed a contract have another signature yet? I think we've had one person on here that has so far, and I'm convinced that's realllly good news! That's become one more thing that I check for religiously! =)
