NELRP is there a thread?

Is there already a thread for RNs waiting to hear about awards from the Nursing Education Loan Repayment Program?

When I search, I can only find previous year's threads.

Just checked today and my application still says submitted. I can't seem to find a HPSA score for my facility, although it is a disproportionate share hospital. Not feeling too optimistic today...

I was hoping they were updating our info in their system, making the website unavailable for a while, but no changes here. Oh well... next week starts off July and I'm sure we'll get some sort of news soon!

Don't give up just yet, the lady I spoke to at HRSA said every single application will be reviewed and that they are behind because they had so many more than last year. Hang in there:)

I would just call them if I were you......I hate to even guess, I have heard that if it stills says submitted, it's not going to be evaluated and then I have heard that it's a glitch in the systems....so just to put yourself at ease....go ahead and call.

I'm just like you, when I saw the post!!! I thought maybe they were updating. So I guess we are all still in waiting mode. I was hoping since everything was online this year, it would be a faster process or easier for them somehow but I hope we hear something.....anything...in the next couple of weeks.

If we don't get to participate in the program this year, should we try again next year or just give up? It's so frustrating even thinking about it since we still haven't heard about this year yet to think about waiting an extra year!

Does anyone know about the 10 year loan forgiveness for nurses, and how does it work. Checking my options if this nelrp doesn't work. Thanks
