Hi all!!! Is anyone out there applying for the Nurse Education Loan Repayment for 2011..I came across the thread for 2010 but was just looking for some additional support...ahhhh!!!!!!!! Its so stressful!

I want to help settle nerves and anxiety where and when I can, but I cannot disclose information that is irrelevent to this task (and in some cases, like addressing how many of those emailed get funded, would increase the anxiety of some).

Sorry, but in addition to relevence, the government can be pretty picky on information leaks - real or perceived - and just because I opted to ask forgivness rather than permission by joining here and sharing, I would much rather not have to do either!!

If you have specific questions regarding YOUR application AND are willing to take bad news as gracefully as good, PM me. If I can help I will. If I feel I would compromise myself, my organization or anyone else's privacy I will tell you.

Hello nurses, I found this blog while trying to find some answers to when I would be expecting a contract letter in the mail. I received my email letter to fax back on 7/14 and attempted since then to figure out if NELRP had received it. I replied back to the email (Gold Team) 3 times but never got a returned email. Its so nice to read a blog from others in the same situation as myself.

NELRP Help: You mentioned something about NJ or colorado nurses, I am a NJ nurse and debt to income ratio is approx 460%. So I was curious to see what you meant by that.

So happy for those who have received letters!!! I hope and pray daily to have something in my box!

NELRP help, now that the award is in place, are we able to consolidate our federal stafford loans into one loan to get the same consistent rate?
