Need interview help!!! Northeastern Direct Entry

has anyone interviewed at northeastern for the direct-entry program? i have an interview this saturday and i don't know what to expect- any advice?

i got into regis and should hear from umass in a few weeks. i also applied to simmons. my biggest concern (besides getting in) are the student loans i'll have to face when i graduate. if anyone has been through one of these programs, is there anything you can tell me about the strength of the programs in comparison to their cost!?

Yes, I don't know anyone who hasn't been accepted who hasn't received an email. But I also don't know anyone who has been rejected. Keep in mind we're only talking about like 5-10 people here on this forum... who knows.

And yes I'm talking about MGHIHP.

Being on the wait list at MGHIHP is....so stressful! Good luck to everyone and keep me and my stress in mind if you aren't really excited about MGHIHP..and pick a different school you were accepted to! Thanks! Hope everyone gets where they want to be. :)

I am not sure what the next step is. The letter says not to contact them. So I guess just to wait! Sounds like fun, huh? :)

I got an acceptance e-mail from MGH this afternoon, but have not yet received a snail mail letter. I nearly exploded, but I really don't believe it's true. It must be a cruel joke.

I also applied to NEU but since everyone else has either been invited for interviews and/or accepted, it must mean I was rejected from the school?

I'm waiting on Simmons and if I'm accepted, must decide where to go. Does anyone have any comparison of MGH and Simmons?

IT doesn't mean you were rejected from NEU-lots of people still have not heard back...

Simmons will not get back to you until late March or April. Is your deadline to decide end of March for MGHIHP?? .

I thought that NEU already had conducted their interviews. If you haven't been invited, your chances of being invited at this point are slim to none.

In addition, from what I understand from people I know who've gone there, they prefer students with a lot of clinical experience.

You may be right but I have heard of people getting wait listed and then getting in. Also, I heard they are doing more than one batch of interviews. Does anyone know if the 2nd round of interviews at NEU are finished??

When I was at NEU last week, I was told that the last "bunch" of interviews was the weekend of 21/22 and that a week or two after that the acceptance letters would be sent out. So I'm guessing we'll be hearing sometime by next week?? Hope this helps!!
