I am in desperate need to contact a community health nurse who can answer some questions for me for a short paper that I need to write for my RN-BSN program. I have plenty of access to hospital nurses, but I need to interview a nurse who works at a school, clinic, or health department. If anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it if you could answer these questions for me. No need to include you full name or exact place of employment.
Name of nurse interviewed:
Occupation:
Place of employment:
Interview Outline
1. Describe your work as a community based nurse.
2. Describe your education and experience in preparation for assuming this position.
3. What do you like most about the position? Least?
4. Describe a legal issue of concern to you in your practice?
5. Describe an ethical issue of concern to you in your practice?
6. How do you keep up with current nursing practices?
7. Do you utilize standards in your practice? If so, from what source and can you provide examples?
Any other comments?
Thanks so much in advance!

You're asking for an awful lot for someone to provide their name and workplace here on AN, a site that offers a bit of anonymity. Where have you looked beyond the internet to find a nurse? It is so much easier for someone to be interviewed in person where they can simply speak while you take notes. When having to complete interviews myself, I've found that doing so in person made it extremely easy to delve deeper into some responses and I learned so much more than I would have if I hadn't been sitting and talking.

Truthfully if you really need an interview with a school, clinic, or health department nurse you should contact your local school district administration office, your own health provider's
practice, or your County Health Department. All of those would provide a contact or multiple contacts who you could meet with in person for the interview. That would work out much better for you than an anonymous Message Board forum.

That would certainly account for the number of !!!!!!! and the general tone of desperation.
Yeah, it's actually due next Sunday 2/5 and I am working overtime this week. I was thinking ahead in case I wasn't able to meet with someone in person. I don't like to bother people at work. Sorry for bothering you on the blog.
Thanks for taking the time to reply.

If you have children maybe their school nurse would talk to you. Does your school have a medical clinic? Ask a hospital nurse if they know someone you could ask or maybe of of them used to do that type of work.
Kind of scary that someone with your credentials would jump to such conclusions.
