It has been 10 days and i'm still waiting for my NCLEXRN result here in CA. I joined Judo and I can't wait to get to the mat today, I'm all **** off, frustrated, out of job for 6 months, depressed ....I'm gonna released some smoke picking up bodies and throwing them to the floor. This is not Judo, but I can't control my rotten emotions now ...I think you passed darling, 265 questions, if you don't see your result after 4 days, you might be drag long haul. Good luck!!!
Read a good book, you have been wanting to read.
Visit with friends. Maybe talk to a counselor. Tie one on; only at home. Meditate. Do yoga, exercise, go for a long walk. Dance. Kayak; only if you can swim and please wear a flotation device. Work.
Fact is whatever the results, it is out of your hands now and no amount of worry will change things.
I think it takes five days or so, BUT also think you can pay a bit extra to find out the results sooner.
Good luck.
Thanks for all your suggestions! I appreciate your kind words and show of support. It feels good to hear from people who dont know me personally yet took time to listen to what i had to say. Im new in our area and havent had the chance to meet people and make friends. Im stuck at home that's why i feel so down.. Got no one to talk to. Ohh.. I wish i could get the results soon.. I hope and pray it's good news. God bless you all!

hi everyone! i took the nclex 2 days ago (aug 26). i'm very depressed because i think i did bad coz i got 265 questions..
the long wait for the release of the test results is driving me nuts (cali takes abt 4-6 wks to mail the results).. i can't stand another day at home not doing anything but watch tv, surf the net, eat and sleep..i'm not in the mood to start reviewing again, just in case i have to retake the nclex. i tried to draft a resume yesterday but didn't quite finish it because i didn't know if i should include my (10 yr) work experience - which is totally not related to nursing
.. my first course is behavioral science and i have worked for 10 yrs in the human resources field. i got my degree in nursing on march 2008. i didnt take the NLE. so, i can't apply for any nursing job. i'd like to do some volunteer work but i don't know where i can apply. i don't even know if they'd be willing to consider me, given my qualifications (or lack thereof).. i'd like to be productive and keep my mind off the test results pressure.. also, i'd like to build an impressive resume by being able to include some nursing related work experience. time flies so fast (im 37 already) and being unemployed for more than a year after my graduation is a bit frustrating ..
do you have any suggestions?? thanks for reading! god bless..
