I'm starting Nursing school and for the clinicals they told us we need white slacks that's not denim. Problem is I'm having a hard time finding what to get. So if anyone can point me to a right direction like an online store or something where I can buy one that's not too expensive that would be great.

WalMart carries Dickies, which are twill, and won't show your drawers through them.
Or http://www.marcusuniforms.com if very cheap, and carried chef pants as well.

Whatever you get make sure you get them with lots of pockets. The temptation to go cheap will not payoff well in the long run since cheap usually means thin and 1 or 2 pockets. I like Landau scrubs; they are a little thicker than most and hold up well. However they are a little pricey. Get in the phone book and find a uniform store or a scrub shop and go check them out. White scrubs ought to be outlawed........
Good luck!

since you said specifically slacks and not scrubs......check out end of summer sales, resort wear etc.....just make sure the do have pockets......and are on the heavier side.....otherwise previous suggestions should suffice

Yeah, Dickies are the way to go if you have to have slacks. They hold up great and will give somewhat. Chefs pants are another great idea, never thought of them, but you can get them with many pockets depending on where you buy through. I also like Landau, or Tafford, for their quality and they both have many pockets. (Taffords are a little bigger feeling, like scrubs usually are)

I'm facing a similar dilemma. I have to wear an all white uniform and I can't find pants that are not see-through. The best I have so far are aviator pants, but they are expensive. I'm hoping that by wearing white underwear and a tucked in white t shirt, I can minimize the amount of trauma my classmates must endure.
