Need help with study for rn exam

Hey guys I been studying Kaplan I did qtranier 1-5 1st one I got 55% 2nd 59% 3rd 59.6% 4th 57% and 5th 49% I was in so rush when I did the 5th one and I'm doing my qbank a my score average is 58% and I'm also studying Mary hogan doing question there too . When I'm done with this I will do la chairty and also will do qtranier 6 and 7 . Z help what else should I do to improve my grade . Plz some can advise me . Should I just do questions or content too. This will be my 4th time studying . My first 3 try I work full time didn't have the much time to study . But this time I study 6 to 7 hours study . Plz done one help me

I was scoring around 50 and my i did all of the questions I don't know what to do.

Kaplan is the closest to the real boards and unless you are scoring in the 60's you most likely will not pass the real test. You have to keep doing questions and study the rationales in order to score in a passing range. Don't retake NCLEX until you do.

Start with they content review, Kaplan, saunders etc. probably need to get 80% or more on those. Then do, http://www.learningext.com. This is the review from the BRN. Has pre and post tests, and a Critical thinking Q Bank, pass with 80% and you do fine. NCLEX is a Critical thinking test, not content. So if you don't have the content down, you will struggle with the Critical thinking. Don't take the NCLEX again until you can easily pass the content review. You'll do fine, don't over think the test

I tried the learningtext.com review by the NCSBN and I was disappointed. I did the 1 month package (back in november) and it wasn't very good. the questions were ok, but no better than anywhere else. If Im paying $50 for a set amount of questions for 30 days, I want some damn good questions.

I too have failed 4 times the 5th might me the charm! you can do it!

My first clinical professor failed it 5 times before finally passing. She's a fantastic nurse. Hang in there!

Hi. Sorry to hear that, but don't give up! I just recently graduated from the LPN program and most of my instructors have suggested that we use Saunders for review. Many of my batchmates have passed their exams for the first try, and most have used Saunders. It has good rationales and exams at the end of each chapters. I'm sure there are plenty of good help out there too, so keep looking on what you're comfortable and what satisfies your studies :) My sister, an RN, has also suggested Saunders. You got this!!!

I just recently took my boards to. Saunders 5th editions is great. I highly recommend this one too.
