  1. Read Saunders 5th edition and follow it up with Hurst review to help you remember what you read on Saunders. Good luck!
  2. do both! what i did, i read all of Saunders, then took Hurst review to help me remember what i read on Saunders, and with all those questions on Saunders and LaCharity and the questionnaires on the Hurst review, i passed on the 4th try. good luck!
  3. I failed all of them but i still passed. It just boils down to reading the rationales and understanding them. my scores were around 80 points, not percent. haha.
  4. dude dont give up, i had to take the nclex 4 times and pass on the 4th one!
  5. Take an exam for a different state. If you take your exam in the philippines, you still have to apply for a specific state. You can always take the exam anywhere but you need to apply for that specific state. for example, you want to take the texas BON nclex but take the exam in cali, you can do that. i hope this helps.
  6. Hurst review + LaCharity PDA= success :)
  7. Did you ask the state BON which part of the CES they need re evaluated? because when mine past one year they told me i had to get mine re-evaluated too. I asked them again because I did not want to repay for another CES and wait. It turned out they only needed to re evaluate my License in the Philippines, which i didn't have one because I'm a US citizen and cant take the board exam there. So, I saved my self some time and money. sooo try asking your BON first.
  8. wait.....why did you have to pay for a re-evaluation. no one has to repay for that.
  9. Bella is right, your missing LaCharity.....VERY VERY HELPFUL!!!! and look at that 36 page review thats on here. that helped me on my 4th take. good luck!
  10. hey im from texas too. where are you from in texas?
  11. Anyone recommend a good ACLS certification in the Houston area, or maybe online? Anyone else wants to do it with me? I'm from the north side of town. haha. Just recently passed my NCLEX and looking for jobs. I'm hoping having an ACLS certification will give me a booster on my application. thanks guys!
  12. I failed 3 times and passed on the 4th one haha. i would suggest buying PDA by LaCharity and do those questions and do alot more after that! maybe go for 5000 questions before you take the actual one again. take questions related to the topic your studying. you should stay away from trying to get high scores, instead read rationales and try to understand why that's the answer. hope this helps.....don't give up! :)
  13. Congrats!!! PVT works, it worked for me. If not, check your board of nursing and see if your license number is on their website :). I actually got my license number the next day.
  14. hello kababayan, I'm not really sure if there are any available websites that give a full comprehensive review, but you can try allnursingnotes.com. He gives a good patho on major topics that will most likely be on the nclex. hope this helps :)
