  1. Congrats! I agree with most of your methods. You're analysis of NCLEX Mastery app was spot on. I use it everywhere i go!
  2. Do you really need a class or do you just need to do endless amounts of practice questions. I would say probably the latter.
  3. Don't spend that much on questions! Kaplan's questions are not "superior" to others, they are practically the same. Try a cheaper option
  4. mobile apps. I hear there are some good ones and some students I know rave about being able to use them all the time
  5. IAnursing22: Any suggestions? There seems to be a lot of them
  6. If you want just review questions, I would go with a mobile app. They are cheaper and more convenient than text books. Just look in the app store, there are plenty of good ones
  7. Runaway, good analysis of the apps. I would agree with everything except I haven't had crashing problems with Davis. But you are right that they are the same as the corresponding book. I would also like to add: NCLEX Mastery: New app, lots of free questions. questions are as good as any resource but easier to use and prioritize your studying. Also, there are some memory tricks and mnemonics. NCLEX (by Ion Citadel): Basic/ordinary and inaccurate answers. NCSBN: Seem a little easy, but the app is easy to use ATI: Quality questions, but call me a nerd, I like an app that works smoothly and easily. This app does not Can anyone else add anything?

  10. Tsk,,seems to be a serious problem... I could not also thrive in an environment like that, because aside from the stress you get from the work itself, you still have to deal with these people!
  11. Thank you for this very well explained and informative article! Would really help me in my practice=)
  12. Yeay! Congratulations and welcome to the nursing world=)
  13. I wish I have the courage to bend and break the rules for the sake of making others happy as my conscience is very strict =(!!!
  14. We aren't really in control of everything and we cannot blame someone for being ill...mentally ill!Same as this nurse do!Hope she can get more support rather that judgment! and recover as soon as possible
