Need advice- this is something I've never done before!

Published

I am an OR nurse in New Mexico and I am looking to move to Seattle. After two successful phone interviews with a major Seattle hospital, they are going to fly me out to do an interview in person!! Yikes! I am excited and nervous, to say the least. I have a 2 part question:

1. I'm sure this topic has been covered, but can anybody point me toward a thread about questions I should ask at the interview? I want to go with a list prepared, but I just feel that my list is very incomplete.

2. How do you gracefully bring up the subject of relocation assistance? Without that help, I don't think the move is financially feasible for me right now. Do any of you have experience with this conversation?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

I've been out of the market for too long to help with the first question, but as for the second - There will probably come a time in the interview when they bring up the relocation. At that point, I would simply ask for details of the relocation package.

Honestly, if they want to fly you out? I am sure they will give you a relocation bonus? right?
