hello!
I'm planning to take the NCLEX-RN exam again for the 3rd time this coming 2011. i graduated nursing school 4 years ago and i think i need to attend live review classes to motivate me to study harder.. anyone here knows a good live review center that is affordable?? located in orange county area?
one of my friend recommended this review class in sta. ana, CA its called High Impact Concept, it costs $1300 for 6weeks of review Sat and Sun only. now i am debating whether i should take it or not. any advice, suggestions, comments will be appreciated. thank you!

Isn't Kaplan around four or five hundred dollars? I think that is too much for only Sat and Sun. I would get very tired trying to cram on two days during the week. I think a different schedule would be better and that fee just seems like you wouldn't be getting your money's worth. Just my hunch.
thank you! i just called kaplan today and inquired about their review. i might just get that and NCSBN. thank you!

Pacey have you tried self study with la charity, davis, kaplan all 2010 books and gapuz abc... those books helped me with my exam 1 take 75 items and i graduated 3.5 years ago
i tried self study and i read saunders and did some of the questions but i failed. haven't tried lacharity.
your missing something when you havent tried la charity. You noticed the exam is full of prioritization so my advice to you use la charity and for sure you will pass.. good luck

Hi pacey03, have you taken your exam again? I graduated about more than 2 years ago and honestly failed a couple of times also but then I enrolled at America Healthways Education and took their unlimited program which is a first 7 days then several more months after your first review session with them plus you get to have 3 days tutorial class each month that provides question and answer class with rationale and tips and strategies on how to nail nclex exams. For more info visit this website for their contact number. Godbless and hope you'll become a part of America Healthways Education Nclex passers like I am. http://www.americahealthways.com/

Hi Pacey03, I highly recommend America Healthways Education. This is the review class that I went to and I am referred to this review center by a friend. To give you an idea, its a live, interactive NCLEX-RN review with options that you can choose, either you take their extensive 7 days review class or the unlimited class which include 3 more additional days per month (tutorial classes)until you passed. Their review material is always updated depending on the trends and needs of the students, the powerpoint presentation is very helpful esp if you are a visual type of person (like me), they evaluate your perfomance in class and readiness to take the exam, they also have some books/materials that you can borrow/read for a certain period of time and most of all they are very supportive to reach your goal. They helped me build my confidence and support me all the way. Visit their website for more information, or you can give them a call. GOOD LUCK! hope my advice will help you.
Also I highly recommend LaCharity book.
Good luck every1 i know you can do it. I have la charity, davis, gapuz, kaplan all 2010,im selling it for 50$ so pm me. Im in daly city. Btw i passed my nclex self study using only those books
