I will be in the actual nursing classes next semester. However, I have already took almost all of the other courses required. The only courses I have left are A and P and Microbiology. What's up with these courses, easy, hard, what? I dont know what I'm gonna do next semester besides the actual nursing classes, you know like NUR 171,ext.. A and P or Microbio ??

Yes, I think Micro and A&P are both challenging and time-intensive. I'm taking both right now, and I'm finding Micro to be the more challenging simply because the subject matter is less interesting to me, and the concepts are a bit harder for me to grasp. I'll be taking A&P throughout my entire first semester of nursing and part of second semester.

A&P you are going to need them so might as well take them and get them out the way so you will have more time to focuse on the nursing courses as you get in to the upper nursing classes. A&P isn't easy but you will do fine.... :)
I start my first semest of nursing classes and I'm taking NUR 100, A&P, and ethics. I was told A&P will help with NUR 100, I will soon fine out.
Good luck to you and I hope this helps. :)

A&P will be more useful for you in your nursing classes. I would take that one first, also.

Since both are needed, pick one that fits your schedule and go with it!

Having taken both A&P's and micro, I would definetely recommend taking your A&P classes first, before micro. As others said, you'll need what you learn in a&p, but also, micro will be easier to understand after a&p, because you do learn things in those classes that they go over briefly in micro, and it will make some of the info easier to grasp. Good luck!! I wouldn't take them at the same time though!! Too much to memorize at one time!

I recommend taking A & P first. I took A & P 1 -2 before I was accepted into the program. I am taking Micro along with my first semester nursing courses this Fall. I was told that the professor that is going to teach the course is very challenging....whooohoooo!!!!

I agree with the other posters....I would take A&P first because it'll make the micro a bit easier to understand and also because there is more info in A&P that you'll need to know in the nursing classes.

in the first college I went to in AL before I could even apply . Also, I am in FL now and both of the A & P 's were required before applying, and micro could be taken during the 1st semester of nursing classes. I already have all of my pre-req classes taken (thank the lord) . But like most people here - I recommend taking the A & P classes first.
Good luck because they are a little tough. !!!
