I usually work Summer school. Honestly, it's easy money and I get a chance to get my files ready. This year I was not permitted to work or do paperwork, so I'm taking the issues in the fall file by file and day by day. I have worked PRN positions in the past and currently I work at a call in type job for my PD, but that has nothing to do with being a nurse. That job is my "gas money" job.
I don't - I usually work at a theater Summer camp for a couple of weeks in a non-nursing role to earn a little extra money.
This Summer, however, I worked all Summer for my school (remote in June/July, in person since early August) looking ahead to the fall prep with COVID. They did pay me for the extra work, thankfully.

Hi all,
Posted a couple times about my interest in becoming a school nurse but I was wondering how many school nurses work a PRN job or a part time job during the weekends, school breaks, or Summer break?
