NCLEX week.... prayer anyone?

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

This is for anyone and everyone who has the NCLEX coming up one day this week, including me.

If you believe in the power of prayer, lets stand together in spirit and pray for each one facing the test this week. Just close your eyes right where you are and pray for the other people (not yourself in this one). Pray their anxiety decreases, their memory increases, their confidence and determination increases from this moment until the moment the test shuts off in front of them. Pray that the Lord has prepared each test according to the knowledge of the testee so that success will be the only option.

If you are not a prayer, then please just send good thoughts to those who are preparing to sit for the NCLEX this week. We all need a little more positive and a little less negative in this world, right? Only we (each one of us) can make it happen...together.

God's blessings to you all and good luck on your test! Mine is Wed 25th. Yes, I am scared and anxious but I have prepared the best I can and that is all I can do, except pray.

Good luck y'all ?

Good luck to everyone this week! I take mine on Thursday!!! Ahhhhhhhhh lol

Think positive and happy thoughts. Just breathe. Take your time. Think it out!

So took it this morning at 0830.. finished by 0930. Ended with 75 questions (I was honestly hoping for more to increase my chances; felt that I did horrible and didn't know most of the content there).

30 min after taking the test.. did the pearsonvue trick.. got the good pop up.

Relieved some of my stress but I know for sure I won't celebrate until I officially got the email/letter.

I told myself I did the best that I could and prayed to god.

Good luck to everyone!

Congrats CCua!

I prayed for all of you! I prayed before my test a lot and passed a few months ago. Prayer works!!

Congrats!!! Guys I'm freaking about testing tomorrow!

Mine's this thursday! Super nervous.

My test in on Wednesday. I moved the date up because as I was studying, a light went off in my head and said, "I'm ready for this now". I've learned that when I listen to my little voice my life is better, so while I'm incredibly afraid, I am hopeful and I know God's got my back. :)

Good luck to all of you.

I am in the minority here because I don't believe in the power or prayer. This in no way means I do not wish any of you the best of luck in their venture this week. I did want to add something to each of your last minute preparations.\

The NCLEX isn't a fairytale story about a quest to slay an insurmountable force such as a dragon. The NCLEX is a test of the skills that you have learned over the past few years. It isn't some abstract concept that only the person that prepared with the golden key will succeed. You all had to pass nursing school to get to this point so be confident in yourself and use your nursing judgment to clear this final hurdle. If you get stuck then think back to your learning and skills and be the nurse.

Walk in this week like you own the joint and do this. From my experience, the other side is bright and happy. If you get nervous then stop, take a deep breath, and tell yourself "I can do this. I will be a nurse."

I guess I'm part of the minority too. It's nice to see someone who feels the same way I do. I repeat something similar to your last statement during every test and I've done well on all of them! No prayer is needed because I know that I am confident with my knowledge and skills.

Mine is on the same day! I'm so nervous. I just don't know if I'm ready or not ... but after 4 years of getting my BSN and Kaplan ... it's time to get it over with.

Good lock to you (good luck to both of us!)
