Hello all, I took the NCLEX today for the second time. I can not even explain my anxiety at this point. I chose this as a 2nd career; although, I always wanted to be a nurse. I quit my full time job and spent 4 long years in school with a husband and 3 children to take care of and working part time. I made it through school and received my BSN. I have so much on my shoulders right now.I cannot afford to fail a second time. If it is Gods will I will pass. Please pray for me and my family.
The first time I studied ATI and saunders. I got 211 questions and new I failed. The second time I did Kaplan Online and then I did Suzannes plan. I also did 100 questions a day and read the rationals for each. I feel Kaplan Helped me with the way they ask the questions and how the NCLEX wants them answered. Suzannes plan with saunders gave me a great review of nursing content. I think the first time I just overwhelmed myself tryng to memorize everything instead of understanding it. Dont get me wrong, the first time I studied like no buddies business, but I think I overwhelmed myself with all the content. It was not like nursing school where you know your having a test on a certain subject and study just that . The most important thing that I did the second time was remember what was most important all along. I did what I could do and finally came to the realization that what God has in store for me will be. I do want to thank all of you who prayed for me and encouraged me during this process.
Thanks for your prayers and encouraging words. I passed!! I logged on the board of nursing website and it was already posted at 8:00am.
Congrats!!!!!!!
I will be retaking my exam on the 2nd and I have been using Kaplan. i did not use anything the 1st time. My anxiety level was through the roof!!!! I feel that Kaplan has been wonerful. Hope I can keep my anxiety level low this time, lol. God will be my source.
Congrats again, !!!!!!!!!!
