NCLEX TODAY! && BAD POP UP... dont think im going to take it again

Published

im sooo upset! just got the bad pop up!! man i studied so hard, ive taken this test over && over! i think im done now! sooo sad but soo true.

Never give up, how many times have you taken it and how have you beeen studying for it

dont quit your too close to be a rn never like me i give up and didnt take my nclex back in 2007 now im striving to get up my feet and push all the nursing knowledge to my brain im taking my this aug wish me gudluck, but advise dont give up, get up and study hard and for you that already seen what nclex test has to offer concentrate on the field you ve encounter

Let your emotions out, shout and cry if you feel like thats how your gonna get it out...

Then rest, rest your head and heart, you've worked hard... :) You are courageous and persevering enough to take the test again and again, why give up? As they say, it doesn't matter how many times you take it, your license will always stay the same... Its right there, you just have to hang on for a bit more.... :)

After you brush off the dust, stand back up and say, "I will not be defeated"

I for one believe that you have the strength to do so, you've got the advantage of knowing how the test goes.. Its just a matter of looking back and seeing what were

those things you were lacking in... What could you have done differently?

Then after you've seen your weak spots, work right back on studying, over come your

weaknesses... This is a new chapter, not the end of the book.. :D

Most of all, have FAITH... PRAY... Seek Him... I am not forcing you to, but if you haven't,

try this time to let GOD pave the way... :D

this was my fourth time! i studied majority of saunders! && i did the learningext.com

A lot of great nurses here have taken the test 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, times... :) A lot of great nurses failed 5 years ago, and came back wanting to learn again, and most of the time passing this time around... :) Its hard now, especially that you know you've worked hard, but giving up now wouldn't end it, for nursing is a calling, that no matter what you do, you'll always feel like you want to come back and simply take care of people..

Now its really up to you if you want to take another path in life, but I believe that the fact that you tried your best 4 times already doesn't mean your not cut out to be one, it seems to me that your the kind of person that pursues their aspirations, and a dedicated one at that.. :) That alone is a good quality of a person who cares..

Don't give up now, you've only scratched the surface of what you can become.. :D

As I've said, take a breather, take a look back on what things you've done wrong,

what kind of questions were you having a hard time on the NCLEX itself, what topics

did you feel you were lacking in? Where you time constrained? Did you have the right strategies? There is a lot to think about, there is room for improvement, you just got to believe in yourself, improve yourself, then take on that NCLEX exam once again...

Try different methods of studying, are a visual learner? or more of the class room lecture type? Audio? Use what works for you, don't solely rely on what other people do, it might work for them but not for you... I myself is a visual learner, I tend to remember more with illustrations and also I like constantly reminding myself the facts that I forget, so I put up post it notes.. :) Find what type works for you, then study as if you've never

studied before, get inspired again... You can become a great nurse, you just have to hang on and work harder... I believe you can overcome this! :D

I know someone who took it 10 times and finally passed on the 10th try! 10 times!!! at $200 a pop! thats a $1000!

not to mention 4 years out of nursing school, married with 5 kids and 2 with medical issues! But she said she wasnt gonna let the devil beat her down( that is what she said exactly) and when she finally passed it was like Mardi Gras in that house, it was like wow! so If she can do, I know anybody can do it!

Don't give up..you can do this!!

Give yourself a couple of days to feel sad and angry, then get ready to gear up for attempt number five. You know that you will be successful as long as you don't give up.

I too took it three times and failed. Just found out today on the third attempt. Just wanted to say to try again... you and I can both defeat this test. It might take us a little longer but in the end it will be worth it:) I know exactly how you feel and if you ever want to talk here is my email [email protected]

That's the same study material i used when taking my 1 & 2 test. after 2 1/2 yrs after my last test and 5 yrs. after nursing school, I took my 3rd test 3 days ago and i passed. i added Kaplan(test taking strategies and RN coursebook) and La Charity book(for priority, delegation this prepared for SATA).. I answered like 1,500 questions from Saunders study mode and read the book (more than half i wasn't able to finish it- LAZY) i prepared for it less than 2 mos. at 3-4 hrs a day( i doze off in between) plus I'm a foreign educated nurse so it's totally different but still i made it and so are YOU. It's just a matter of time you'll make it.

thanks everyone!!! ;)
