Hi everyone, I’m an absolute ball of anxiety. I took my NCLEX-RN yesterday morning (02/08/2020) with the new COVID19 adjustments. I started at 8a and finished around 10:25a. I had all 130 questions. I received the confirmation email at 10:58a and I IMMEDIATELY (11a) tried the trick. I got the “bad pop-up” and I was able to register to take another NCLEX. I am beside myself, mentally physically and emotionally. I still haven’t received my quick results.
I have done about a total of 950 UWorld questions, the first assessment I scored 41% with the average score being 56% the test said “low” chance of passing the NCLEX. I took that about 3 weeks prior to receiving my PTT.
After receiving my PTT I scheduled for 5 days later. (Otherwise I would have to leave NY or wait until Sept 30th). I studied hard those few days and took the Kaplan Readiness test the two days before and scored 52% (which I believe was a 60-70% chance of passing the NCLEX).
They could come anytime in the next 24hours. I am a mess, according to all the forums regarding the trick it is very accurate. However, I’ve also read that going all the way to 130 questions during these covid adjustments... theres could be a gray area? I know there is no true way for you to tell me but any info would help get me through the next day... day in a half. What do you think!?

So sorry you didn’t pass. I didn’t pass when I took it back in October & the feeling of not passing really stinks, but YOU GOT THIS NEXT TIME! ???
I take my exam this week for the second time, in a couple days. You mentioned that you used Kaplan and that the questions were similar to NCLEX. What were you scoring on Qbanks? Did you take the CAT exams Kaplan offers?
I just found out that the minimum questions is 60 in the maximum is 130, because apparently I’ve been hiding under a rock LOL.
So up until yesterday I was doing 75 question quiz exams on Kaplan Qbank and I was scoring in the 50s and 60s. And now I’m doing 60 question Q Bank exams and scoring in the 60s. Do you think that is ideal with using Kaplan? I used U world the first time and I didn’t pass. But also didn’t study as much as I should have, so I can’t blame U world for that. ?
I also use simple nursing on Youtube, he is amazing! I’ve watched all of the pharmacology videos and DI and SIADH. Hyper and hypothyroidism, all of those. He really explains it and it makes answering questions so much easier.
Any advice is great. I’m just wondering if taking the NCLEX now poses a greater risk of failing again because there’s not much leeway to prove I can pass with only the 130 vs the 265. That’s what I keep thinking about!
chances are that’s the good pop up. I do wish I never did it in the first place, it added to a lot of my anxiety. I believe you passed, if so congratulations! I hope I’m as lucky. I would check your unofficial results 48 hours after you test. I’m finding that after the 2 days, results are uploaded every half hour and hour mark. I truly hope you passed:)

Thank you but it’s been past 5 hours and still says same thing and the thing that is stressing me out is I only had 5-6 sata that’s why isn’t that a bad thing
The form of question has no bearing on pass or fail rate. You could have all SATA and pass or fail, you could have all Multiple choice and pass or fail etc. everything I’ve read where people have gotten the results on “ hold “ pop up have passed, but they never got the other one after constantly checking. So if I were you I’d take a deep breath and relax. Take the next day or so and do some self care, keep busy. You deserve it.

Thank you means a lot I will try to do that m letting the anxiety take over
Don’t allow it. I did and I failed the test and lost 4lbs in 2 days. It was sickening. I couldn’t sleep, I couldn’t eat. Ultimately... a learning lesson, it’s just a test that can be retaken, you will pass. For some reason the creators of NCLEX want all the nursing students in the world to feel as worthless as possible before getting their license to practice.
