If you will be taking NCLEX and would like to be prayed for, can we start a fourm for this. I know that some folks are not into prayer and I don't want to offend anyone, but I sure need it!
hi there thywill...stopped at 222.. and all i had were multiple choices..no other format which bothered me too but majority says the format isn't a big deal..they don't determine difficulty..it really depends on the question being asked..and no one can predict it...let's trust in God! i'll pray for all of us..keep the faith!
Re: NCLEX Takers Support Thread
i took my exam last oct 1 and no result is posted yet at pearsonvue.but when i visited the vermont website I have a license number already.wat does that mean?can anybody help me?im so scared.. by core animal
Hi Coreanimal, CONGRATULATIONS! if you have a license # then you have PASSED!:yeah:I wish you all the best in your career..........
well...i still don't see anything on the website and the phone isn't saying anything either. i am really trying to stay positive...i am thinking if it is not up after 2pm today....i didn't pass. i am just trying to prepare myself once again for failing. i feel like i have taken it so many times that i should be a pro. nursing is my passion....it's what i am suppose to and want to do so badly. ugh! i hope to god every second of every day that i pass.
wow.. got the unofficial result and I PASSED!!! yeepeee..:yeah:whew. :up:thanks to all of u guys hu prayed for everybody hu took the exam ...When I saw that I have a license at vermont dont know wat that means..thank u guys because u answered my question before I really got the result. Thank u lilpal1 and silverdragon102 ..because the agony of waiting even just for a minute or an hour is terrible..its like killing u softly..:heartbeat..Now Im so overwhelmed, cant beliv I made it!!God is so good..
Now I wanted to share this to those hu wil be taking their exam..when you start to review "CLAIM IT WITH FAITH THAT YOU ALREADY PASSED THE EXAM."God will grant the desires of ur heart.. i have my self review for only 1 month. 1 month preparation is enough if you are determined to pass the exam and all through out the review till the exam day and when waiting for the result think positive..I answered lots of questions..I computed the exams that i had its almost 7 thousand ( but more on saunders)..i dint dwell so much on the concepts. My strategy is that i carefully read the rationale of the answers. If there are topics I didnt understand or the rationale is vague that is the only time I go back to my books and read. I have lots of reviewers but I focused only on 1 reviewer...and that is SAUNDERS..it gave me a sense of accomplishment when I finihed the questions on the book, the Q n A and the CD inside it. Well if i did it you can also do it!!guys I will be praying for everybody, i just hope and pray that you will understand the test questions as the examiners did understand it and be able to choose the best answer..tenx to everyboy for the support!God bless.
hi lil pal 1, my friend sent this to me and it made me feel some comfort as i was waiting anxiously for my results. i know that it is very hard to stay positive or even motivated when something you want sooooooooo bad just does not happen. i am going to continue to pray for you.
'"to get something you never had, you have to do something you never
did.' when god takes something from your grasp, he's not punishing you,
but merely opening your hands to receive something better. concentrate
on this sentence... 'the will of god will never take you where the grace of god will not protect you.'
god bless!
I have taken the NCLEX twice now and really could use a prayer to get my spirits back. the first time the computer shut off at 265 and the second at 95. How can I do worse? I need all the suggestions and help I can get. I am so sad and have cried for days. I don't know what else to do. I am embarrased and at times question my intellegence. Any suggestions?

Hi Lil belle, Thank you so much!
The hurst website is:
http://www.hurstreview.com/
They also hold live reviews in certain states at certain times. I had friends that attended the live review in Richmond, VA and loved it. I could not take it so I did the online version. I enjoyed it too. I watched over and over again. I paused it when I needed to research something and posted questions on the website and they responded immediately! I did what Marlene (owner) recommended, which was know her information without a doubt.
As far as kaplan; unfortunately, they do not sell this q bank in a book. You would have to purchase it. I spent a total of $700.00 on all these reviews just to pass. the Hurst was $350.00 and Kaplan (full course) was $360.00. The q bank alone all by itself is $ 299.00. The questions themselves are sooo helpful, I can't stress that enough. It gives you the type of difficulty that is seen on the NCLEX. I would do like 150 to 200 questions a day.
Well I hope this helps. Stay confident, your time is coming
