NCLEX Takers Support Thread

Thanks. When I walked out of the site after taking the Nclex, I felt so defeated, very low. I thought I was ready for anything, until about question 4 or so when the SATA came at me one after the other. I felt like I was guessing at each one. I had only one math, many infection questions and then about 5 or 6 meds...I was expecting to go over 75 questions and its scary that the computer has "decided" on whether i passed or failed, but I do not know....

Still waiting...Will know by tomorrow.

Hi all, I also will take my exam this coming August 20 at 12:15pm, please pray for me to pass and that it will be my last exam for the 3rd time. Thanks.:wink2:

I would like to know if there are any people who reside in west palm beach fl who is willing to help me ,,i have not been sucessful on my first try and i am at a complete lost, any one who is willing please let me know thanks so much god bless everyone,,

i have a question that hopefully someone can answer for me. i am scheduled to take my rn exam on the 26th at 8:00am. ive been going on the pearson site now for about a month off and on to try to see if they will open up any later times for that day. i dont want to push back my day as i'm determined to pass that day but i know i personally test better in the afternoon after i've had some time to calm the nerves and not worry about being late and so on and so on...

do any of you know if its just a lost cause to try to change my time or if i should call the center and see what can be done? i dont want to lose my date so if its 8:00am then its 8:00am for me! any help would be greatly appreciated!

hi: did you try to reschedule at another center at a later time? if you are a better test taker at a certain time, then you should do what is most comfortable for you.

i had to reschedule mine, i actually moved mine up and had no problems with rescheduling it but it all depends on the center. i had an option of about 3 or 4 centers by me...try going online at pearson vue, as they have all their centers listed....good luck!

thanks delina for the response but yeah ive been on the site multiple times with the 3 or 4 closet centers to me picked and unfortunatlly most days to reschedule for are for 8:00am. i checked today again and the center by me seems to put the later times like a day or 2 days before that certain date, so i will keep checking to see if they post anything later for the 26th of this month! thanks for the help again!

My prayers go out to all including myself. I will be taking the NCLEX in Cali in September and of course we have to wait 3-4wks for our results through snail mail. I truly believe in prayer and it has also gotten me to complete the PN program so far. If anyone has any words of encouragement and advice especially those who passed the NCLEx please share. Thank you!

Hi to all!

I'll be taking the nclex this coming Friday and honestly I need all the prayers I can get. It's 3am and I can't sleep, I am so nervous, anxious and I feel that Im spacing out. Gosh... what if I forget everything... my goodness, I need to get a grip.. I know I studied and I will try my best to pass the nclex in 1 shot... if not there's always a next time.. whew... i just keep telling myself that... and also thank you to everyone for listening and praying for all of us here... thank you! wish me luckkk! :redpinkhe

so i went on tonight to the pearson site and i found a 2:00pm app at the center i prefer just a day later...so not bad at all...i'm now officialy set for the 27 of aug at 2:00pm...aghhh haha its official

Good Luck on your exam! Just remember to take a few deep breaths, read and re-read the questions and answers. Remember ABC's and your go with your gut! I took my NCLEX last week and am still going nuts waiting for results, knowing that in CA I will probably still have atleast 2-3 weeks of waiting! It does get a little easier as each day passes but it still drives you nuts! LOL

I live in CA and we don't have quick results! Does anyone have any good ideas to help the weeks fly by....LOL It is a killer. I didn't think it would be that hard to wait but OMG was I wrong! My test shut off at 85 and I feel that I did pretty good except for the SATA! They really sucked! I have heard that you can go the Board web site and look for your name to see if it is posted but I have no idea where to look on the website! Does anyone know of any information regarding the website? :wink2:

Julee2ya, here is the link to the brn website http://www2.dca.ca.gov/pls/wllpub/wllqryna$lcev2.startup?p_qte_code=RN&p_qte_pgm_code=7800 and then into the verification of licensure...just type in first and last name and hopefully it will have what you are looking for...as of today it was last update the 20th, but i would keep checking back if you dont see your name as it can take more then the usual 3-4 days. :) GOODLUCK!
