any nclex takers in october-share study tips

I myself is waiting to take boards in california for my lvn. I would like to participate with the support group also. I am having a hard time studing when i am at home. ny sugestions.

Anyone writing the exam next month?

I was a part of the June and July Support group and it was great. I am currently reviewing Suzanne's plan, I am a re-taker and so far I am at a road block with meds...

I don't know how to re-start with reviewing meds the best way....if anyone has any tips, please share the wealth!!

I think it would be great if we would start an October support group if one has not been started already...if one has started (I couldn't find it), pleae post and let me know where...

I was on the September group and changed to October. The September group has been great at supporting each other for this exam, so I decided to continue it for those of us that are now taking it in October.

Mine is scheduled for October 29th and I can't move it back anymore than that LOL. I can move it ahead (yeah right), but not back.

I did the NCSBN 5 week plan, and I'm now studying my Suander's and PDQ for the NCLEX-RN. I'm sticking to do lots of questions right now. I just started my first GN position on NICU and have found out the hospital will pay for Kaplan. I know I can pass this thing, just have to keep plugging away at questions as its impossible to know everything.

i picked october 10 after i got my att within 28 days but it's still tentative. i just chose it since pearson san francisco is always full and i felt i just need to take a reservation just in case i want to take it. i'm still deciding if i'm going to move it on the last week of oct just to really use my ncsbn online review till expiration.

hEY ALL,
I am starting to get a little freaked out with this SATA stuff!!!!! Anyone else?

Don't freak out, log on to 3500 nclex and there are free SATA and diagram questions and it will give you questions free. I saw similar when I wrote the exam in July, and they are not too hard, especially being a select all that apply. Mostly on meds and patient teaching, SATA emphasizes in that area.

No worries, but do focus on patient teaching, infection control, disaster plan for the exam...don't stress too hard on SATA's. Some may get a few, none or alot...you just don't know...
