The ATT is American, and they are well informed that the names are rotated in Chinese, as well as in some other countries.
In some countries, the surname, or family name comes first, then followed by what we call the first name.
Same way that your American nursing license will also be Americanized. Same thing happens for physicians as well.
Thank you to Precy, RNGrad2006 and Suzanne4.
I e-mailed PearsonVUE Customer Service and they were most efficient and helpful. They responded in less than 24 hours and re-issued me another ATT with the same ref number but with my name listed as per my passport ie with my surname in front.
What a relief! Now I can concentrate on my lessons and enjoy Taipei thereafter..

Anyone can tell me whether I could be turned away from the NCLEX-RN exam centre in Taiwan?
I'm registered for exam on 7 Sept and the Authorization to Test ( ATT ) form lists my chinese name with my surname at the end (American style) eg. XX YY LEE.
On my passport my name is shown with my surname in front (Chinese style) eg LEE XX YY.
Anyone know whether the exam centre will turn me away? Or should I ask for a new ATT with my name matching exactly my passport?
Pls help - I'm paying a lot of money to fly to Taipei, and worry my trip could be wasted.
