about CGFNS processing--sos!
if you want to apply and pay online, you can do so in their website with a creditcard. after a day or two, your cgfns id will be emailed to you. as well as the order number if you just ordered cgfns-ces processing. you can also send all the required documents like hs diploma (if they require it), sealed transcript from your school, application form plus the money order payment (put them into a single envelope). they will not process anything without a complete payment.

I need help with my ces report..
http://www.cgfns.org/sections/tools/apps/sbonrequirements.shtml The link shows the CGFNS requirements of different state. High School diploma is not a requirement of CGFNS-CES for Iowa. It wasn't waived at all in your situation. The verification of licenses (both local and current US licenses) will also be handled by CGFNS-CES. It says there in the instruction manual that you will send all licensing agency where you held licenses. I am just wondering why CGFNS is not asking you to do verification of license for California. It's better that you talk to a CGFNS customer service representative. Verify to them if they need California verification of license. They might be asking you the wrong verification, instead of CA they are asking PI.

I need help with my ces report..
English proficiency result will be checked not by IOWA licensing agency but CGFNS. Check your order status at CGFNS website for you to know the needed requirements, what you (and your school) already submitted. http://www.iowa.gov/nursing/licensure/endorsement.html If you can beg for an extension from your boss, do it for the mean time. Tell them that CGFNS-CES report cannot be processed in just 3 weeks. Some reports are issued after 3,4 and even 6 months.

I need help with my ces report..
I think you also need English proficiency as an added requirements for IOWA. They do require it during initial application. I just don't know if they will waive it in your situation because you are endorsing your CA license. If you can't get in touched with them through phone, I suggest you visit their office if you are already in Iowa. Your job is on the line.

how to start all the application for IL license
There is a local or extension number for CGFNS-CES. Try this number (215) 387-7093 local 601. You already have your CGFNS-ID since you've just ordered from them. Even without CGFNS ID, you can still talk to a representative there. Just say to them that you have an inquiry. Also try to call CTS, they are easier to contact than CGFNS. Keep on calling CGFNS (persistently), some customer service reps. there are Filipinos. For the meantime, start forwarding the request form to your beloved Alma Mater and PRC.

how to start all the application for IL license
CGFNS-CES already changed the names and descriptions of the two. Academic Report and Professional Report. When did you pay and order at CGFNS? Did you use online ordering? Did they ask the intended report recipient? If you based it on ILDFR, full education report is more acceptable that the course by course report. You can also use that report if you want to pursue specialization in nursing or masters degree in the US. http://www.idfpr.com/DPR/APPLY/FORMS/CGFNS_02.pdf I suggest that you have to clarify this matter to either CGFNS-CES or Continental Testing Center so that your doubt will be over.

how to start all the application for IL license
Are you done with CGFNS-CES? If not, I suggest to do it first before sending your application to CTS (initial nursing licensing agency for Illinois). It's 2-4 months of processing so you have to wait. So while waiting, request for the FP card. Search through this site (or some Filipino nursing forums) regarding the contact person where you can request finger print card for ILDFR. I will try to search in my files if i have still that contact number but for the meantime, do the searching. Some Filipino nurses used the official FBI fingerprint card which you can get at the US embassy, Manila. There is an stamp in the FB card like New Mexico (or other states), just ignore it, anyway you will be filling up the intended requester which is the ILDFR.

IERF Vermont and CES
I guess that's the one your looking for if you are referring to your credential evaluation. They are not specifically for Vermont because they also do services for other states except New Mexico. There are information there for credential evaluation specifically for nurses, kindly read it. I just cant find the contact number but there is a live chat if you need further assistance. Maybe few nurses used IERF for their credential evaluation that's why no one is answering your inquiry. Majority of foreign educated nurses used CGFNS-CES for their credential evaluation.

NCLEX-Fingerprint Card Rejection
May I know what state are you applying for?

should i simultaneously apply for ces to cgfns and eligibility to vermont?
Know the needed or required CGFNS-CES report that Vermont is asking. Either full education course by course or healthcare-profession and science report. If you haven't been issued a CGFNS-CES report before then don't get the re-evaluation. You don't need additional report recipient ($60) during your first time application because you have two (2) free recipients in your initial application. You are required to place at least one recipient of the report in your application. Why not just put two recipients, just in-case Vermont is not your destined state. Take some time to read the CGFNS-CES packet as well as the Vermont Licensure Packet, the answers are all in there. Good luck.

need help with CGFNS-CES report..
Here are my answers to your queries. 1. You don't have to fill Post Secondary Non-professional Education if you are not a second courser. However if your first course is non-health related such as accountancy or engineering, then you have to write in there. If does not apply to you then just put N/A. 2. Send a license Verification form to CA-BRN (plus the money draft fee of $60). The form can be found in the CGFNS-CES packet. Verification will take about 4 to 6 weeks. 3. Send a photocopy of your high school diploma. In case your HS Diploma is in tagalog, ask the school to translate it english. 4. College diploma is not needed only the transcript of record and the academic verification form (from CGFNS-CES packet) which will be accomplished by your beloved alma mater. 5. It is better to call CGFNS instead of emailing them.

Illinois BON requirements for internationally educated nurses
Since you were educated outside the US, the ILL BON will require you to submit education verification which is the CGFNS-CES. On the CES, they (CGFNS) will require you to be licensed in your country of origin (I don't know if they are going to waive this). And you are not exempted in taking the Phil. NLE because you are still a Filipino. You can contact the Illinois BRN or the Continental Testing (CTS) as well as the CGFNS-CES. Look in the website of CTS and you will find the contact person. You can inquire in there through email or phone. Gud luck.

is CGFNS needed in Chicago?
Do your CGFNS-CES first. When the CES report is on your hand, it will be indicated there that the Language used in your school is english and utilized english textbook. (Something like that). That will be the basis of CTS (Continental Testing) / IDFPR in waiving your TOEFL or english proficiency for the meantime. However, you will be needing the english proficiency in your visa screen.

License Endorsement from California to Illinois
Thanks a lot for your quick response. We have done our reading already and we feel that we still need clarification on the verification of license. The IDFPR phones are too busy. We just want to ask those who have done the same process that my friend is about to do. Thanks again and we appreciate your great help by sharing your experience in endorsement process.

License Endorsement from California to Illinois
I am posting this in behalf of my friend who recently passed her NCLEX exam (California licensure) but she is already in Illinois. Her problem now is how to endorse her California license to Illinois? By the way, she is a foreign graduate with SSN. She is done with her CGFNS-CES already. Does she need to send one validation of license to California and one to the Philippines? Is there a fee for the validation of license in California? Does she need to wait for the actual California license before passing the validation of license to California? She just learned the she passed thru California website.
