NCLEX-RN!!!! Testing next week, HELP!!

Published

Hey Everyone! I am taking my exam next week and I am beyond nervous. I graduated in December and have been studying since, using Saunders, HESI\Saunders Online review and the nclex RN mastery app! In my program we were required to take the HESI exam and I scored a 900. I wanted some feedback from people who have taken the Nclex and HESI and how there scores correlated with passing/failing! I need encouragement! Thanks guys :)

Hi! I have taken both, passed HESI but failed NCLEX. I took them very far apart though. I do remember the HESI book was great for the HESI test, but I highly recommend not to rely on just that or Saunders for NCLEX. I think adding just one more review would be a good idea. I've never done the app, but Kaplan seems to be a great one to go with. What I'm doing to pass my test now is going over material I am not comfortable with as I answer questions. That way, you can tailor your study program to you. That's just a small tip though, keep on studying your content and taking mock NCLEX tests of you can! Make sure you know your labs and Med classifications with as many meds as you can retain! Know maslows by heart and focus on actual problems, rather than potential ones first. I feel like that's what I may have done the worst on, but that's just me. I hope you pass!!! Good luck!!!

Thanks for the reply! Good Luck to you too. :)

I just passed my NCLEX and all I did was Hurst Review. I loved Hurst and felt it really prepared me well for the NCLEX. However, I have numerous friends that have done Saunders, then did the practice exam in the Kaplan book and they did just fine with those. If you have been working hard I bet you will do fine. Just practice a lot of questions to make sure you know how to answer properly. You got this!

I am also using Hurst to study for NCLEX. I was using Saunders and found it to be awesome but too much info so I stopped reading it (I knew I wasn't going to be able to read the whole thing). I feel that my content is stronger on every topic after watching the Hurst videos. I also have Kaplan because is nice to be able to have bunch of questions to practice from. Good luck

I passed in 75 questions!!!

Congratulations
