NCLEx-RN study buddy testing MARCH 2010

Hi I am just wondering if someone likes to be my study buddy.I am from California,I will be taking by march and it will be my 3rd time.It's so hard for me to sit and study again I need motivation.

Right on that, why Feb. only got 28days,haha! anyways, good to see you back! How are you doing so far? have you scheduled a date yet? I am really hoping I'll make it this March as I have to send back home (Phils) the form for License Verification.

Hi ate. Qumusta nmn po? I'm doing OK, i guess???? :lol2: I have been answering 100 questions/day from Qbank lately. I have just been applying the advise from successful test takers, 3-4 hrs study/day, Q&A and read the rationale even if you got it right. And that's just it. Done with review after 4 hours in a day. But I don't know, every time a day passes by, my conscience bothers me. He says that I need to atleast read my content for an hour in the night. he he he. I'm having an instinct that "it" does not suffice. :eek:

So how are things going for you? :)

PS: Can you tell me more about that License Verification you mentioned? Is it from the local board back home?:idea:

It's from Vermont's new re-take form where the Licensing Agency from your country (PRC) would need to fill up and seal. I am getting it from Legaspi City, hopefully my nephew mails it this week.

It's from Vermont's new re-take form where the Licensing Agency from your country (PRC) would need to fill up and seal. I am getting it from Legaspi City, hopefully my nephew mails it this week.

I'm with NCSBN 100+ questions everyday, read some content, maybe memorization coming days.

Ow ok, so you applied for a license in Vermont? Then i believe you have a Philippines license? :)

I heard that Vermont gives you only 3 chances to pass the NCLEX-RN, if you didn't still make it after the 3rd try, they'll ask you to enroll to a refresher course or something like that. Is this true? :)

Yeah, i have a friend who failed 8x. That's 8 TIMES. on the 9th he passed. So where is he now? There in a hospital in downtown, earning a good salary..DAYM! hehehe..yeah, we'll nail this 1 for sure. :up:

PS: were you the one who's asking about that med which has something to do for memory booster? :cool:

Anyway, what's up snlavc? are you in hurst review? Sorry bro, don't have an idea about Hurst Review, but i did hear from old thread that it is good. I'm on Kaplan Qbank and i think it's fine. Comparison? Try to look it at other old threads, maybe you can be enlightened by it. :)

Hi I'm also planning on taking the NCLEX this march as soon as I get my ATT...I've already passed the Phil NLEX and when comparing the NCLEX style questions to NLEX style it is completely different...I am currently using Saunders 4th edition, Lippincot 10th edition and NCSBN learning extension as my review materials, so far I'm still flunking the tests when I take them...I'm in panic mode right now but the same also happened when I took NLEX and I passed barely...hopefully when I get all of my review materials down I can be full prepared to take the test...

Oh! and yes doing a "mock" NCLEX exam never hurts...do the exact thing you plan on doing on the day of your exam so that you don't panic on the exact date of the exam...

Yes, after 3 tries they require you a formal review, applied in Vermont when I was still in the Philippines not expecting would be here in Ohio in a year. Will apply for license endorsement IF I pass, waaaa.

Hello everyone!

I'm currently using the Saunder's 4th ed., and some free NCLEX practice test on line.

Also read the la charity Prioritization,Delegation Book. This will be

my 2nd attempt, and all I can afford is my time to see other free test here.

I tried that Kaplan challenge everyday,but that is only one question a day.

About the Saunder's,I tried to answer like 100 questions a day, but sometimes I am not satisfied with my

good result,because some questions were repeated, and of course,I already know the answers.

Any other book one can recommend here? will be highly appreciated.I might can see it on the library.

Ow ok..so it's true what my friend said about vermont. Do you find that drug effective? I mean does it really improve your information retention ability? :)

Oh so you're here na. Yes, I noticed the effect after like 2 weeks of taking it. I feel very alert, far from getting stressed and can grasp info easily. Maybe I just needed it 'coz been out of school many years or that am getting old.;)
