Hi I am just wondering if someone likes to be my study buddy.I am from California,I will be taking by march and it will be my 3rd time.It's so hard for me to sit and study again I need motivation.

Anyway, what's up snlavc? are you in hurst review? Sorry bro, don't have an idea about Hurst Review, but i did hear from old thread that it is good. I'm on Kaplan Qbank and i think it's fine. Comparison? Try to look it at other old threads, maybe you can be enlightened by it. :)

Hey everyone! I took Kaplan my first time and it is good for strategies, however I did not pass so now I am trying the hurst review. I really like this one because it is more content, it has online lectures and questions however, I did like kaplan's quizzes online. Hurst is a really really good content review, however kaplan is good for questions online and scoring. The Hurst review's questions aren't scored quizzes like Kaplan. But I definitely needed the content review!

I hope everyone's studying is coming along well! Only another 4 weeks for me! eek! Pray Hard! :)

DreamGoalRN~ I have been taking it the Hurst review for 2 weeks now using the online lectures, however I printed out all of the workbook pages to take notes with the lectures and it is as big as the kaplan book! Talk about wasting ink! haha!

Faith70~I would definitely say that I like the Hurst review more for the content and reviewing the patho and basics of every part of the body, Kaplan does not really do a good job of reviewing. However, I do prefer Kaplan for the online questions and being able to test yourself and have a score with rationale. It is very much like taking the NCLEX as far as how the questions are worded and sitting in front of a computer taking questions online. Also, Kaplan does come with a book for studying patho and such, but it is really hard for me personally, to sit down and read an entire book front to back to learn. I am much better with interactive learning, therefore Hurst really works for me because it is online lectures with basically a workbook (that you print offline) and you can really get into the lectures with these notes.

I guess it really just depends on what you need to study personally. For me, I need a BIG content review as I have been graduated since August, however, If you are fairly confident that you remember your patho, then Kaplan would be great because it has some content review but not as much as Hurst. Hope that helps! :)

hi thanks for reply, just wondering how long can finish or be done on hurst? like a month or a few weeks? a minimum to finish all infos? i am testing in 2 weeks and just wondering if i could still review hurst..i do kaplan and saunders.

thank you so much for all the information, i also need content review, i did do kaplan in summer & i do review the questions & have the kaplan book, i'm just not sure how good kaplan book is for content review, i do have saunders & mosby, but i have not work on their content at all.

i think those books are too much & i need more than 3 months to review their content, i was just wondering if hurst is as deep in content as saunders & mosby, because these two books are too much for me.

i did do just kaplan questions first time i took the test, no content at all, but it was not enough so i failed that why i'm kind of nervous for second time around.thanks a lot & good luck in studying & exam.:)
