hey, guys! finally, i'm taking nclex-rn this sept. i've been reviewing last year but never took the exam. the only review materials are the old edition of saunders & kaplan's green&blue books (from last year's review). i'm kinda anxious right now! i'm planning to enroll in ncsbn online review and looking for a study buddy/group. anybody here from the phils.?

its ok tryna wind down with content studying then im off to doing questions completely till my exam. ive been doin questions on and off but i dont really count how much ive done so far (id guess about around 300-500) planning on finishing qbank and lacharity. il do saunders Q&A too for rationales.
hi jbreezy thanks God you replied. I was the one keep on writing. anyways, keep on encouraging each other. I do questions . I keep on listening to content while doing my household work, while cooking , with my daughter. I know its not going in my head everything but atleast something goes in my head. and it helps too. sometime i think i should do content first then questions or the other.
but now i made my mind to listen content and do questions. what you think? keep in touch.

I'm gonna start my kaplan review(8 days classroom based review) this coming Aug 29. I took Kaplan too on my first take but I didn't take it seriously. I didn't attend to my classes and didn't answer the qbank but now I'm determined that I'll do my best to review. Right now, I'm studying 2 hours per day since I'm working in a hotel as front desk from 7-3pm. I'm planning to start studying 4 hours a day starting this week. How about you gold2010, how many hours do you study and what materials are you using?

i am married with one toddler. its very hard concentration breaks a lot. disturbance. its very hard now to sit for hours. I get tired . my brain shutts off. write now mostly i am listening to contents and doing some questions.
one more thing i wanna share that some guests are coming to stay for while. thats making me worry too. because this is my crucial time and i don't want any kind of disturbance.
Because expectations are too high in my family I can feel the pressure on taking the NCLEX RN exam. My dad, aunt's, and my cousin who are nurses took the NCLEX RN for just 1 take. And on February I sat on the pearson vue site for my exam. after two weeks i found out that i failed. and yesterday i took my second one and i tried the pearson vue trick and no pop out appeared and that indicates I failed my exam (that is what they told me). And now, I have no idea how to start studying again. I got good grades on college but it seems I don't know anything when i sit on my exams. How will I start? Im just so ******.

wait for official result. Give yourself some time. I know its same in every nclex taker family pressure and expectation too. i can feel that because I go through it every day of my life. So, I started praying and studying hard and more seriously. concentration breaks but I gues i have to do my best. thats it.
