Nclex RN 75 questions & Pearsonvue trick

Published

I took the Nclex RN for the first time on friday 9/11/09. I got 75 questions which were mainly application and analysis questions. I had about 6 or 7 SATA and no math questions. The questions were very difficult but i was very sure that i did good. i had a lot of infection control and delegation questions. I also had questions that asked me to assign a nurse that had been pulled from one unit to another to a patient. I tried the pearson tick and it said that i have scheduled the exam recently and should contact my board. I have read from here that the pearson trick works and im really hoping it does. I was very sure i passed when i came out because i got a lot of difficult questions and i believe i got most of them right. My results are not yet available on the pearson website. Im so nervous and tired of waiting. does the pearson trick really work? and do the kind of questions that i got sound like i passed or failed. Most students from my school pass on their first attempt and im hoping i do too.

Thank you all for your encouragement. I just checked my quick results and i passed the Nclex RN. Im super excited. Good luck to those who haven't taken it yet. I hope you also hear good news like i did.

omg! congrats! i also took my nclex sept 11 09, the agony is killing me, but im not brave enough to do the pearsonvue trick. i had 265 questions and im not sure if i did well. what keeps me going is that i had 15-20 sata question and lots of prioritization and alien meds. i also had dobutamine computations. i really dont know what to think. im praying hard, and i trust him. i know he's with us all the time. God Bless everyone..

I also had 265 questions when i took it in aug.21st.

I only had 10-12 SATA and 10-12 calculations.

You can never tell if you passed or failed because you cannot tell if the questions are above passing or below passing. Hang in there. It's always possible to pass at 265.

I was certain i failed after the test. But God is really good,i saw my name in CaBON which means i passed.

Just pray,hope and don't worry.

God Bless!

The pearson vue trick really works! I tried it 2 days after taking the exam, it didnt allow me to pay for the registration.. there was a pop up saying that their records indicate that i was recently scheduled for an exam..then yesterday I saw my name in RN.CA.GOV... Im now a registered nurse! thank God! =)

how do you check on the BON for license activation, i'm from NY, I did the trick and it worked but i want to check again, thanks

congratulations... no doubt that you pass your nclex.. I also got 75 questions and answered for an hour, its difficult. I tried the pearson trick and got the pop- up message..Then i tried the quick result indicating that I pass.=)

cCongrats... God is with Us!!!

Hey i hope u right because that was the craziest test ever, 75 questions atleast 8 SATA, meds, psych. I almost cried , it was ridiculous. Right I just praying and hoping that the trick is right, evrybody is pretty sure of that , it is the only that is keeping me sane, thanks for the reply, I let u know

I took the test yesterday. Stopped after 105?s. I did the trick when I got home and got the pop-up. It's easing some of my stress, but I still won't be happy until I see my name on the BRN website. I'm in California. Are any of you in CA? Do you know the soonest I would be able to see my name online if I took it yesterday? Is it tomorrow or Thursday?

Thanks, and congrats to all who've passed!!!

CA can take anything from 3 days to 6 week to get results. A lot will depend on your file and whether you have a SSN of not

I am in CA too. I took the test on Monday. Stopped at 75. I have many SATA, meds that I am not familiar to them. I am so nervous and dont think that I will pass. I did the trick just few minutes ago and it pop-up with the message "Your current test result is on hold. No other registration can't be made at this time?" Is that mean I failed?? Anyone is on this situation before?? I think I have to start to study for the next round. It is very suck of waiting.
