NCLEX-RN passed with 265 questions!

Published

Today I found out I passed the NCLEX-RN exam after having answered an excruciating 265 questions. I finished considerably after all the other NCLEX-RN test-takers in the exam room, and came out of the testing center absolutely sure I had failed. The questions were difficult and I was unfamiliar with so much of the content, I just knew I would be back testing again. And as another note, I had plenty of trouble answering these kinds of questions in nursing school, too, so I just figured I was not prepared to run with the big boys....

Anyway, I am posting this note to say thank you to all that have posted here saying that you had passed the exam with 265 questions! But for you all, I surely would have had exactly NO hope for anything other than a failure.

If you find yourself needing to re-take the NCLEX-RN, remember this: JFK Jr. did not pass the bar exam on his first try either!

Best wishes to all of you who have passed, and to those of you who may be taking the exam in the future. (:

well, yesterday i took my rn nclex and received all 265 questions and i honestly have no idea how i did. i read on here about people who passed and that gives me hope. then, i read about people who failed and it reminds me of my odds. i know i have the knowledge to be and rn, i just have a testing anxiety problem with my state boards because it's for all the marbles. i have a job lined up that is orientating me and lots of friends, family and co-workers including myself i feel i will let down if i fail. help! i'm soooo afraid i failed and the wait till tomorrow is killing me. any advice out there on what my chances are of passing????:o

Did you say 4 hours? Wow! :balloons::balloons:CONGRATS:balloons::balloons:

Great job on the test!! Can you tell me what you used to study? I have many different books and they all seem to have very good content, but I have to take the test for the 2nd time soon. I want to use my study time the best I can and not waste time on books that won't be helpful. Thanks!

What did you find was the best book to study from? I have 4 books and I failed the test once and I'm kind of freaking out about studying the right stuff. Any avice would be great.

What is the pearson vue trick????

look on main page of nclex discussion forum, you'll find a giant thread with the same title.

Hi I just took my nclex and I had 265 questions. I tried the pearsonvue trick that if they brought you to all the way to payment, means I failed. I felt really bad about this exam . Do you heard about this pearsonvue trick if its really true , Thank you!
