I just took my nclex rn today and I'm 100% positive I failed. I got the max 265 by question 140 i was done.
How long do you have to wait to Retake RN Nclex in Texas??? What should I do different
I feel like I don't know what I'm doing or maybe I shouldn't be doing this. All my other friends got the min 75. I;m so upset with myself.
HELP!!!
I failed the first and am about to take it for the second time. I did give myself 60days vs'45. If you need more take it. I did hurst the first time around and didn't study it much. I figured "I watched the videos and did the questions, I should be good". Ah nope. So this time around: NCSBN review, hurst again (read the whole book/notes out loud to my dog), did the kaplan book again, and now I am doing flash cards. I am throwing everything I got at it this time. I retest in 6days. Needless to say I feel more confident but I am still nervous about taking it again. Just study, study, study. You can do it.

Do you think I should do the Kaplan review course? I hear they are the best one.
Leo,
where u from? because i took excell nursing review i have been out of school for 14 years and took nclex 3x and failed so i decided to take core content review and they are really great ... i took my nclex again last monday and my comp shut off at 75 did PVT and got a good pop up ..now im just waiting for my official result..
What a bummer! But...again, whether you pass on the first try or the second, is not a reflection of what kind of nurse you are. The best nurse I know passed it on her third time...I know a nurse that passed at 75 questions and I wouldn't let her take care of my pet rock.
Hang in there...you'll make it!
@rnlovesherpharmd did you have to retake it?
no, i passed with 75 questions. it did not let me repay for the test. i did many, many, many ati questions and my school made our entire class take the hurst review a month before graduation. i would say trying both of those things could help you pass the second time around. my entire graduating class passed, and only one got ore than 75 questions (110).
good luck!
i am so glad i foung this site, i took nclex twice the first time basicaly went with no prep and took the whole 265, second time did hurst review only and got 75 and did not pass i got 15 SATA, audio, and pedi cal, i am so devastated and so not motivated to study at all. i have just about all nclex books, every time i think about studing i go through anxiety. not sure what to do at this point. please help and encouragement and advice????:crying2:
