Hi Good day! Im christian i just want to ask a question,. i take my NMI NCLEX-RN exam last july 12 2019 and i found out from my quick result (PURCHASE) that i failed my exam, now i am planning to retake my exam.. i want to know where should i start first; if im gonna start from the bottom processing my papers and paying to get an eligibility again or should i proceed it in getting ATT since my eligibility is not yet expired? Is it true that if i failed from taken exam , automatically my Eligibility to take for 1 yr. will expire immediately from the day that i failed the exam and reset back from the bottom for processing whenever Im planning to retake an NCLEX RN exam. thank in advance for the feedback

Yes your ATT is only valid for 1 exam only and you must wait at least 45 days before you can test again. Check with your state BON to determine any paperwork or fees due to issue another ATT. You can pay for another exam with Pearson vue at anytime.

from my 1st take i process my eligibility 4-5mos,, and at this moment my processing agency for exam only state the they will reapply my application as retaker and takes 4-5mos since BON of saipan will going to see again my application.. does BON saipan doesnt release a certificate or documents for eligibility

I would first check with the states BON to see what their policy is on retaking the exam. The ATT is usually one good for one exam so you will have to reapply for it and submit a payment.

As far as studying i would wait to receive the cpr report in the mail. It will include the instructions for the retake process. One word of advice throw it out !!!

My reason for this is because the nclex will never test you on the same information twice. The CAT exam is designed to remember you last exam. For example if you are above passing in all categories except one like health promotion dont just study that one category.

When retaking the NCLEX exam the key to passing on the 2nd try is to study as if you never took the exam the first time. Study everything from start to finish.

Best of wishes . . .

Hi, may I ask how you did with your tests at school?

At school i tested extremely well. Med surg was my best semester. I passed with a 98.

The first time around was unsuccessful for me because of lack of preparation. I studied for about 10 days after taking a two month break.

Hi everyone! I have a question in terms of Reexamination of NCLEX in California. I have failed my first exam last month and have been studying for the next one. However, I'm not really sure with the processing of retaking the exam. I've been waiting for my ATT since I already paid pearson Vue on Oct 3 and they said to wait within 4 weeks. To confirm, I called Pearson Vue and actually 3 people told me that I don't have to do anything else but just wait for 4 weeks. My concern is that some people told me that I only have to pay $200 through Pearson Vue while others tell me I have to go to my Breeze account and re-do all the processing which costs another $250. I wonder if you guys have any ideas in regards to 2nd take of Nclex. Any info will help! Thank you very much.

I would contact the state BON to see if there is any additional steps you need to take.
