Nclex RN December Test takers, share your thoughts and study methods.

Hey all I will be graduating the end of Oct and am trying to get ready for the nclex. I hope we can support each other and share our study methods, prayfully we'll call ourselves RN's soon.

And I dont want to move here in CA before to live with my unlce and auntie by myself so I keep delaying everything, telling my parents that I still need to earn money and so many crazy reasons but then I end up leaving with my uncle and auntie, 10 yr old cousin and a 4yr old cousin who keeps bothering me all the time but atleast my mom and sister came here with me two hehe im kinda crazy

what kind of job did you go thru if you dont mind?

Thanks so much...I have always been negative about test taking...that way I don't set myself up...I work in a nursing home now as a LPN, you don't get much experience. Plus, I had 85 questions for the PN boards, guess I was hoping the same for the RN's. One extreme to another!!! I know Pearson VUE knows if you pass or fail....those people!!! THEY KNOW!

lol Im from Philippines too.' Sounds' like it was a high earning job there. Anyway its not yet too late to start reviewing.I suggest go for Kaplan or ncsbn. Those are the best for me.And dont forget Saunders. Alaska its cold here. Are there a lot of Filipinoes there? I ve read that the population in you place are few. Is that true?

yap, u almost see same faces everyday haha, mostly filipinos, i have so many relatives there but they are crazy hehe I dont like them. They make my life so stressful, thank God we moved in here. Its not that good money, just enough pay for the fare and pocket money for having fun with friends and relatives. In 2 years of being here in USA, I think I want home three times in PI hehe.But at that time it was really good money for me, since I only have 150pesos everyday allowance to go to school and extra money if I go to hospital duties hahaha

U dont wanna know hehe, but ok its a factory which we process fish products for exports,first I was a processor then I became a Quality Control, which they give me 40 hours a weeks even u dont do anything just go to the factory an punch in your time card have little chat with the boss, its fun though coz mostly filipino are your co workers

Did you mean the people who are observing you during the test?The people in the testing center? (Pearson Vue people)How did you know? Oh well, good for you that you are LPN already. Its also hard to be LPN so take that as a plus factor for you. Just add self confidence in yourself. Its a big thing. :up:

hahaha not really, i jaz miss my family in there, i will go home on june, u wanna come hehe, my mom will go home this january. plz pray for me december 31st will be my day of judgement hehehe

Yes, I know of a few people that have taken the boards that, at the test center, have received a, "thumbs up" after the exam. In the Pearson VUE pamphlet they give you, it says it is graded twice, once at the testing center, and once at your board of nursing. It's just the waiting and wondering that kills me...I hate knowing I could possibly be out of $300!
