Hey all I will be graduating the end of Oct and am trying to get ready for the nclex. I hope we can support each other and share our study methods, prayfully we'll call ourselves RN's soon.

Hi everyone I just took the Examcram stimulated exam and got all areas above average is it good or bad i am ready for the exam or not what do u think with your experience

thanks i like your advise im a person who cant stick in my own study plan, im going to take my nlcex on the 31st pretty hard for me coz i graduated last 2007 and its been a long time so my mind is kinda rotten hehe ul pass i know!

Hey all tested RN NCLEX today at 0800. Did the PVT and got the good pop up. I feel preety good now. The test was kind of hard to me. Got tons of meds most of which I did know what they were, I believe that is due to the fact of passing so many meds as a LPN. got quite a few SATA questions as well, not in a row but had one every 2-3 questions. Did not keep track of how many. Lots of priority and infection control as well. SPIDERMAN MNEMONIC helped alot with this, glad I looked at it last night.

I used Exam cram, Kaplan workbook, Hogans review and some visual books from a review class I went to. only went to the first two days of the review class but the books were very helpful.

coz i was stuck in alaska making good money before not really good but i thought it was good enough for me coz i never work when i was in the philippines, it took me two years to think that i was just wasting my time working and letting go of what i had studied for 4 years. And thats a seasonal job so I can go home to PI as long as I want. That made me stay in that work. does it make sense hehe

I cannot study. I am the type of person who will study just to make themselves feel better. I will look at the words/sentences/questions and won't retain anything unless it is interesting to me! I'd rather say I didn't study and explain my reasons why, than to waste my time...I do try. I took my boards today and had the full 265 and am 100% positive I failed. :crying2:

lol Im from Philippines too.' Sounds' like it was a high earning job there. Anyway its not yet too late to start reviewing.I suggest go for Kaplan or ncsbn. Those are the best for me.And dont forget Saunders. Alaska its cold here. Are there a lot of Filipinoes there? I ve read that the population in you place are few. Is that true?

And I dont want to move here in CA before to live with my unlce and auntie by myself so I keep delaying everything, telling my parents that I still need to earn money and so many crazy reasons but then I end up leaving with my uncle and auntie, 10 yr old cousin and a 4yr old cousin who keeps bothering me all the time but atleast my mom and sister came here with me two hehe im kinda crazy

Dont loose hope.Wait for the official result. What ever happens,grab your inspiration.Of think something to add fuel to your review.With your friends or ever loved ones beside you for you to be motivated.
