SOOOOOOOO i took the NCLEX today at 2pm and i know i didn't do good. The exam was just a blur. Majority of the questions were none of the stuff that i reviewed such as ECG readings, cardiac medications, and more cardiac medications. And don't get me started on the SATAs, exhibits, and the sequencing of events!
i love math. but there wasn't even a single question on dosage and calculations.
prior to my exam, i reviewed for only 2 weeks.i know everyone would go on me but personally, i don't believe in studying. i believe in stock knowledge. you know, the stuff that you learn in school that you cannot learn overnight. (and i tend to fall asleep while attempting on answering the questions). i didnt even bother enrolling myself in the review centers. i just bought myself a Kaplan book and answered the CD that came with it.
so yeah, that's how i prepared for my nclex exam and guess what, i got the good pop up! and my question is this: is it really accurate?

Most of the time this PVT is accurate. It certainly worked for me. Congrats!

It was almost a blur for me to. I also do well with dosage math questions and only got 1 math but it wasn't really a drug calc question, it was to calculate intake.
I believe in studying. It cut most of my anxiety although most of what I studied for didn't appear. However' Kaplan's format of their questions and their screens were very very similar to NCLEX.
The review I did for 5wks reinforced what I knew and even reminded me of what I forgot which can only help me on a job.

thank you guys. i hope the pearson vue trick really works! :redbeathe
best of luck to those who will be taking the NCLEX-Rn soon my tip for you, if you don't know the answer, try to apply the elimination technique. and if you really can't decide what to eliminate, just try to make an "educated guess" .
btw prior to my exam i went to 4 different churches. i guess miracles really happen

i didnt study until about 3 days before my nclex. not tryin to brag, but after reading enough posts here, and from nurses who recently passed the nclex, i decided that if i could pass the hesi's in school, i should be able to pass the nclex, as nearly everybody i talked to and people online said the hesi's in school were more tricky/difficult than the nclex.
and i would agree with them, after passing in 75 q's. i feel like the nclex is 50% nerves, 50% knowledge. you must have both under your thumb in order to pass.
i dont mean to be uppity/brag im just trying to comfort those who are about to take/awaiting on results from the nclex.
good luck!
thanks for keeping my hopes high, i just found out that i passed! PVT really works!!! thank you!

I just took the nclex rn. I got 75 questions with 20-25 sata 2 drag and drop a few priority questions and a lot of medications. I just did the Pearson vue trick and it says our records indicate you have recently scheduled this exam please contact Bon for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time. Does that mean I passed?
