hey everyone,
so i am about to start reviewing for the NCLEX and am torn between which to use NCSBN or Uworld Qbank (I'm assuming thats from Kaplan ) . i also have access to Saunders book and questions, but i will probably use that just for extra practice, if there is time .
would love to hear some feedback on either one of these.
thanks in advance
I'm cranking through the Kaplan Qbank, does anyone have some good feedback about Kaplan questions? It's actually a requirement for my school to complete kaplan, but like everyone else, I want to make sure I'm studying the best material to pass this the first time!
My school required Kaplan too, and I used the whole program, but I found frustrating sometimes. the rationales were a mixed bag, sometimes just saying answer incorrect instead of saying why, and I found answers that seemed to be wrong and went to the NCLEX Prep videos and found they contradicted themselves.
I didn't use Uworld (by the time I looked here to get advice I was slow close to test date I dint feel like I could get my money's worth) I did use LaCharity's book and picmonic's free questions of the day with review video's (free).
I did pass on first try with 75 questions, but found the questions harder then Kaplan, (maybe it was the stress). So many people on the NCLEX prep threads have said UWorld was the way to go, that If I had to retake I was prepared to purchase it.

i finally got UWorld and did the first set of 20 questions. scored 60% . it says avrg is 52%, so I'm guessing i did ok.
what were your %s?
