NCLEX review options

hey everyone,

so i am about to start reviewing for the NCLEX and am torn between which to use NCSBN or Uworld Qbank (I'm assuming thats from Kaplan ) . i also have access to Saunders book and questions, but i will probably use that just for extra practice, if there is time .

would love to hear some feedback on either one of these.

thanks for all the feedback! has anyone compared the two or is it just from personal using UWorld? and how long ago did you guys take the NCLEX if you don't mind me asking

My pleasure, you will love it! I couldn't grasp Kaplan. Not knocking it but it wasn't my cup of tea. The rationales on UWORLD are so detailed, and the questions are identical to what you will see on NCLEX. It felt like I was doing UWORLD and I was very relaxed. You will not be disappointed. I also used Remar Review with quickfacts. She made it easy enough for me to understand.

I tested last week friday got quick results Sunday and passed, i used UWORLD exclusively for 2 months. then NCLEX mastery and lacharity the last 2 weeks before my exam just to answer more questions.

@pocketsize i didnt use kaplan, however i heard it cost around the same as UWORLD.

At my school we paid $125.00 PER SEMESTER! MANDATORY! I honestly think it is a waste of time. The rationales aren't in depth at all.

Thank you! I'm almost finished with all of the questions on Uworld and I'm at 64.4% 88th percentile. I write down and read almost every single rationale. I also did the Hurst live review and watched all the extra videos. I test 5/25/2016 and I'll keep y'all posted.

If only I could beat this pretest anxiety! :(

Uworld if def better than Kaplan being that I'm a Kaplan grad I used all Kaplan products through school and they really push the decision tree. Their rationales are not as detailed as UWORLD and UWORLD is much easier to understand I'm my honest opinion. Good Luck!!!!

wow a unanimous vote for UWORLD, thats awesome! I guess i have my answer as to which to use.

did anyone of you , or maybe someone you know, actually use NCSBN learning extension? the two are pretty similar in price but having a hard time finding comparisons between the two .

You go on that site, sign up and pay for your subscription. Me personally i used UWORLD exclusively on my phone. So after signing up i went in play store and downloaded the app.
